My husband and I ate breakfast here on a weekday. The vibe is nice and the music was great. We were greeted as soon as we walked in and sat at a table right away. The server was friendly and efficient. Food was alright though, and for the price we were expecting more. Not sure we will be back.

I brought my mom here yesterday for breakfast and we had an amazing experience! The owners and waitresses were very friendly and welcoming. The food was DELICIOUS! If I could give 10 stars I would! We had the avocado with mango toast which was a pleasant surprise! The flavors worked well together. We also had the beyond sausage biscuits, chicken and waffles, stuffed biscuit with spicy sausage, gourmet grilled cheese, macaroni and cheese, and grits. Everything was extremely good and we will definitely be back!!!!

Very cute aesthetic in here! They play chill r&b music and everyone is just having a good time. It’s a small spot but I believe there’s outside seating as well. They also don’t sell alcohol but that may change in the future, however the fruit drink we tried was very delicious. The chicken and carrot cake waffles was excellent! It came out fresh and hot with plenty of flavor. We also tried the catfish and grits which was also super tasty. We will most definitely be back to try more items on the menu!

This place is a gem. We made a reservation and I highly recommend you doing the same. The staff are nice and attentive. We got the stuffed biscuit with spicy sausage and seasoned potatoes, the fried catfish with macaroni and cheese, and a cornbread cake. The food was fantastic, which is why I forgot to take a picture before we started eating lol. Definitely go!!!

Cute place in a great location. Good music playing during lunch on a Wednesday. Service was great. Now for the food and beverage… I ordered the mango, pineapple punch ($5.99). I was expecting it to be fizzy, but it was just juices mixed together. Pretty tasty, just not what I expected. For my main, I ordered the fried shrimp (16.99). They were delicious- fried perfectly. I substituted macaroni and cheese for the fries ($2 up-charge) and I wish I hadn’t. The macaroni and cheese was a 4/10. It tasted like fake cheese and was super thick, not creamy at all. No cheese stretch- which is expected for a five cheese Mac. It was actually very difficult to swallow. I also ordered a side of greens and when my meal was brought out, the server said that they hadn’t finished cooking yet- mind you it’s 12:30 and they close at 3pm. I’m happy to support black owned businesses, but if the sides ain’t hittin, it’s usually a one and done for me.

5 stars across the board! Food, service, ambiance, and even the wait time for our food. I had the Chicken and Carrot Cake Waffle, which was amazing, and my friend had the Peach Cobbler French Toast which she said was delicious as well. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. I have been telling everyone about this place, and definitely can’t wait to go back soon!

First love the menu and the way everything is catagorized so cute and unique. We started with the Shrimp and Lump Crab dip which was okay the dip it’s self a bit on the thick side almost like you’re eating an egg salad than a dip. The warm pita chips were phenomenal. For our beverage. We got the pineapple orange mango punch which was delicious. I also ordered a fresh pressed juice with ginger TBH it was mostly foam and ice. For our mains we went a bit fancy with the Chicken and Carrot Cake Waffles 10/10 would recommend. The chicken is seasoned perfectly, juicy and truly one of the best fried chicken wings I’ve had. The shrimp and grits were a miss the chicken sausage and shrimp do not compliment each other and there wasn’t enough Cajun juices/butter from the shrimp to make the grits taste like a part of the meal I’d nix the chicken sausage and add bacon instead. Unlike The Special Oxtails and Grits which tasted close to perfect . Overall the staff is great and attentive. We also caught a moment where they sang the cutest birthday song for someones birthday. This is a great spot and wonderful addition to the Lawrenceville restaurant community.

The location is great, but our service was not the best. One person in our group did not receive her food at the same time as the rest of us. Then she was told that they don’t carry that item anymore, so the chef had to make it especially for her; even though it was clearly listed on the menu. When she asked to be comped for the inconvenience, they only comped her for avocado toast. Won’t be rushing to get backnthere anytime soon.

The service is amazing as well as the food! We were greeted at the door with warmth and positivity. Seated immediately with a reservation. Out server was friendly and attentive. One of the partners came by amd spoke to us and it was just a lovely atmosphere! They play current music which my whole family loved! My daughter danced her way through breakfast! The food was fantastic! We had the crab cakes as an app and they were some of the best I’ve ever had! My husband had the chicken and carrots cake waffles which were melt in your mouth! I had the shrimp and grits and they were creamy with plenty of sauce and giant shrimp! My daughter had the kids pancake combo and it was so much food but she devoured it! We will definitely be back and I highly encourage everyone in the area to try it!
