The food was very good. There were nine of us girls, so everyone ordered different things, and we all tasted each other’s dishes. I’m only giving four stars because the Peach Creme Brulee was very disappointing! It’s supposed to be served chilled with a warm crunchy top. It was served too hot, and the custard was broken. The sugar on top was burnt, so it made everything else taste bitter. No hint of peach, except for the two slices of CANNED, not fresh, floating in the custard. It was topped with strawberries/blueberries and whipped cream… maybe to cover the burnt sugar? Definitely would not recommend it. The burger was advertised as medium, which is my favorite, but it wasn’t pink on the inside…still good, though. The atmosphere was fantastic, especially in the cellar!

Amazing restaurant! We were seated into the cellar due to an evening rain. It was literally dinner and a show as the girls had a full view of the open kitchen. The food was amazing and the service was outstanding.

We dined at the rooftop restaurant inside. They had a bar which was fairly busy. We had a nice view. Everyone was so friendly and helpful, especially our server Erica. We had wine, water, and iced tea before the meal. The hush puppies were an excellent choice for the appetizer. The salmon was good, served over tasty rice. The filet was tender, juicy, and perfectly cooked to medium rare in a delicious sauce that really made it pop! The asparagus was slim, tender, and better than any I’ve ever eaten. It was accompanied by au gratin potatoes that balanced the meal very well. We shared a peaches and cream creme brulee topped with fresh blueberries. Easily the best creme brulee I’ve ever had, and it’s a dessert I frequently eat. Erica checked on us often, and even brought some warm rolls with whipped butter while our dinner was being prepared. Our drinks stayed filled and we felt like a king and queen. I highly recommend Summer. Restaurant!

Wow! We had booked a spot here when we heard they had opened because we were traveling to the area. We entered through the wine cellar area on the basement level which was very cozy and then took the elevator to the roof. Huge windows looked out on downtown and the mountains. We are inside because of the cold but outside offered igloo-type things for small groups and couches, chairs and firepits. Service was exceptional as was the food. The bartender made perfect drinks. We had mussels, incredible fresh bread, salmon and scallops followed by lavender Earl Grey creme brulee and peanut butter pie. We cannot wait to go back!

A real OG, “GT Robbie” comes correct with the green tea shot. Easily the best green tea I’ve ever had! I was visiting town to see some musican friends play and met one of the staff out on the street who happily guided me to the delicious beverages at this cute rooftop bar nestled in the mountains of Virginia. I also had a lovely old fashioned. I highly recommend this place for great drinks and excellent service with a friendly staff. Those fellers behind the bar were fun to kick it with!

We had an amazing experience here! We came in without a reservation and lucked into the only unreserved table of the evening. Our server Elisa was fantastic and everyone was very attentive. We had a delicious bottle of wine and the food was to die for. My husband and I travel a lot and I’m pretty sure this was my favorite meal in America. We had the mussels small plate to share. I had the scallops and my husband had the pork chop. Everything was incredible! We will definitely be coming back, with reservations next time!

Absolutely beautiful! I’ve eaten in both the cellar (moody, romantic vibe), and the rooftop (chic, bright). Both times have been amazing. Delicious food, pleasant staff, and well made drinks. Definitely a new favorite for Abingdon!

We sat on the rooftop for our Anniversary and it was a wonderful evening. The service was excellent, the scenery beautiful, the food was delicious and we walked away saying we can’t wait to come back. Maybe we’ll try the cellar next time! I also heard they keep the rooftop seating available and fun in the winter!
