My husband and I were passing through on work trip and decided to give Walkers a try we LOVED the food. Absolutely delicious, perfectly seasoned and nice portions. True home cooking!! 10 out of 10!!!! We ordered fried chicken, fried pork chops, Mac and cheese, green beans, yams, dressing, banana pudding & pond cake! This food is cooked the old fashioned way, fresh ingredients and outstanding flavor. The service was quick and fast. Loved every bite!!!

My luck with Walkers lately hasn’t been the best. Food cost way too much to still have to come home and cook. If the lady hadn’t put meat on all the plates and fixed half of my food already I would have walked out.

A friend suggested this place so I figured I’d check it out. It’s cafeteria style so there’s a wide selection of meats, sides and veggies to choose from. I got fried chicken (leg &thigh), corn and mac-n-cheese. Cornbread was also included, but you can choose a roll instead. The cornbread was ok but a bit crumbly. The mac and corn were both decent. The chicken, while cooked well and having an appetizing appearance, was disappointingly bland in flavor. Just needs some salt or seasoning salt or something. I may come back and try some ox tails or something else. The server was very friendly and provided a good explanation of the menu and pricing.

Tried it for the first time and the food was good. The sweet potatoes were cook perfectly and not to sweet. The fried catfish was seasoned great and cook just right. The peas and cabbage needed a little more flavor but were still good. I would definitely go back and try other dishes.

The food used to be so good here, but the one older lady gives the burnt meat at the end of the day and I guess she was saving the good stuff to take home! $50 worth of trash bc that’s where it all went. We don’t eat burnt meat so I am not sure why it was served. She intentionally skipped over the good pieces ! I’m glad she is not normally at the front. It’ll be a while before I come back. I eat out 15-30 times per week and I want what I pay for!!!!!

My sister, mother, and I are on a trip from Texas to Tennessee. We wanted to eat at some place other than fast food or chain restaurant. Google showed Walker’s was nearby. Staff was very friendly, helpful, and patient. Excellent and numerous options for food choices. Everything was delicious. What I liked best…my 90 year old mother, who has been very picky with her food, nearly ate the entire meal. Thank you.

I Didn’t like the food, Everyone was nice and the place was clean, I usually like home cooking but this food wasn’t good. I sure don’t like to ding anyone like I said everyone was very nice to me but in the end it just didn’t tsaste good to me paid 18.oo for a very basic cafeteria style meal. Could not eat most of the food. Sorry Walkers I liked you all, Just not your food.
