Started eating here several months ago and food was great. In the last 2 months, we have noticed a change in the chicken. The chicken is no longer moist or tasting normal, its dry, tough and hard to even bite through. Not sure if it’s a new supplier, old, or over cooked, but the last 3 times we’ve had it, it’s been this way. Dont think we will be eating here anymore.

i just moved here and wanted some good comfort chinese. saw they had 4.5 stars but definitely wasn’t, they called me when they arrived and the driver was yelling at me and not allowing me to talk so she could be let in the gate. i paid with cash and she proceeded to call me out for the tip i gave her and that the next time i go there i need to tip better which was completely uncalled for & not how you talk to a customer. once i got inside i saw my sauce for my chicken busted & my chicken was undercooked. not worth 4.5 stars and not going back again.

The ladies who work here are so nice, and the food is delicious. You have 3 other, much larger, busier options on the same block, but Ping’s never fails to have great service that is fast. The atmosphere is very mellow. The meal is affordable, and great quality.

Love this place. The staff here are a bit blunt, but I imagine English is not their primary language, so the translation can seem short. But they are wonderful, the food is fantastic, and we order take-out all the time. We used to go to Rice Box Express, but they became too expensive, smaller portions, and super expensive to deliver. This place offers more food, lower prices, and pick up is super easy. I’m not sure about delivery, but apparently it is very limited. Needless to say, they’ve been around for a long time and I know why!

Looking at reviews, I was a bit concerned about service. Figured the food would be good, especially if just getting wonton soup and an egg roll. Staff was very pleasant, taking time to answer questions; expressing appreciation. I ended up ordering Ping’s Special Chicken along with the soup & egg roll. All were delicious. Prices were very good. Though a dated decor, the restaurant was clean and well maintained. Will definitely come by again during my stay.

The decor isn’t impressive but the food is very good. Our favorite Chinese restaurant in Sarasota, Manatee and Charlotte Counties. Very reasonable priced and the food is always hot and well prepared. They make their own Chinese mustard for the egg and spring rolls that will take the back of your head off if you are careless.

My wife’s families favorite restaurant. I should start by saying that her family knows the owners and knows what to order, however, wow! I have never had a bad experience here. And that mushu Pork… So good. Again my experience understanding may be different from others but I have found Ping’s to be a wonderful experience each and every time we come to visit Sarasota.

Ping’s is one of the best places in Sarasota. I have been going here since I have been 15yrs old. The family is great and I love their service. Their food is excellent and portions are just WoW! They also never forget a face! I will keep coming back and bringing my kids forever! Now I have told my office and I can’t wait for them to try them out and enjoy the same experience I have for many years! Thank you Ping’s for all your delicious yummy food

Having been raised in the Bronx, NY, and my parents being Chinese food lovers, I feel that I know what good Chinese food tastes like.

Wonton soup was good but food was bland and fried rice was brown but I would not consider it fried rice. I had sesame chicken and while the chicken was white meat and tender, the pieces were just too big. I like more of a crispy sesame. Hubby had general tsaos and said same thing about his. Thought the sauce was quite bland. Can’t say we’ll go back.
