Home cooked breakfast comfy food. Big portions. Great local pricing, don’t know what other folks are complaining about. Wanna have yo kids eat for free go to Denny’s. Food isn’t great there and it’s skimpy. Some folks just need be grateful they are privileged enough to go eat out

I love coming here. It’s a nice place to walk in and have coffee and yummy food. The service is great. The only drawback is you never know if its actually going to be open. I just walked over at 9am on a Friday and they were already closed.

My husband and I were craving home style breakfast this past Sunday and we decided to try this restaurant as we had never been before. We were the only folks there to our surprise, and met the wonderful owner. Could’ve talked for hours. Our food was amazing! We can’t wait to come back. My husband chose the Irish Benedict (his fave, and sometimes hard to find locally), the eggs were cooked to absolute perfection and he raved about the hollandaise sauce. I ordered the simple platter of two of everything (toast, eggs, bacon, sausage), and wish I had room to finish.

Based on the other reviews I must have hit them on a bad day, service was slow and the food average. We were seated right away and we got our drinks but then we waited for a half hour to place our order, food took another half hour. all in all we were there almost 2 hours.

Sitting here on a quiet Tuesday morning enjoying the best ‘sausage, egg, and cheese on an English muffin with home fries’, I have ever enjoyed in a public restaurant and wondering why I never eaten here before. The coffee is also good. I’ll certainly be back here again.

Update… I went back to see if my poor experience was a one off or the normal. I was pleasantly surprised to find out the poor experience was an isolated visit. This time things were just like they use to be. Friendly service, good food at a fair price. I will be returning regularly.
