Our server was great, she kept our drinks topped off and made sure we had everything we needed. The fries were nice fresh cut fries. The po-boys were good, nice bread, just the right amount of lettuce and tomatoes. The only that would have been better is if there was a little more meat.

I stopped in Monroe while driving through LA, and I saw that this place was listed as one of the top po-boys in the state, so I just had to stop by! And I have to say, the food was pretty incredible. I got the fried shrimp po-boy with fried okra, and my brother got the same thing but with fries. They also came with their own cup of gravy. It was so all so good! The reason I wouldn’t give it a 5 star rating is because of the general ambiance, as the place was generally untidy and didn’t have a really clean vibe. But I must say, the service was great! I originally ordered my meal with fries on the side, and only afterwards I wanted to change it to okra. Even though it was a few minutes after ordering, and even though the okra was a dollar or two more expensive, the person behind the counter didn’t skip a beat. He updated the order, shouted something tot he kitchen, and it was done. I also have to say that their other food looked incredible as well, such as the burgers. If you’re in town, stop by this place!

It’s was awesome, We got there about 730pm, and they were closing but the fixed us right up and insisted we stay. Just letting you know so in case you decide to go, just remember they close at 730 sharp. Gravy and good still taste just like it did in my 20s, hell they even had the same waitress They had in my 20s.

First time customers here. Good was great, service was to notch! We got the large cheeseburger and the hot roast beef poboy. Both were delicious! Our waiter even brought us a dish of their homemade ice cream. Was awesome!

Another busy lunch rush. Had to wait a bit, but the food has always been well worth it.

My husband and our worker loved their meals. While I thoroughly enjoyed the fried pickles, they put the dressing on my salad themselves . My salad was drowning in Italian dressing and no amount of Crackers and even my husband’s cornbread made it better. Great place all together, but I would like to dress my own salad,in so weird, I’m sorry.

The roast-beef po-boy was not as good as they used to be. There was hardly any meat on it! The gravy was still good, though.

Not the old Rays Pege for sure. Roast beef poboy was ok. Had just enough meat to cover the bread. Been a long time since I ate there I will be back though

It’s been years since I have eaten here. We didn’t go inside but ordered from the to-go window, which I love. They also have a small but nice outdoor seating area. We would have sat there and ate but it was too windy that day, so we got it to go. We had roast beef po’boys and curly fries. It was good yet not as good as I remember it being. They changed the bread, and it has a lot less toppings. With that said, the flavors were good and I would eat there again.
