Super darling place, very friendly staff, and tasty food. Food came out in waves so everything was fresh & hot. Chicken nuggets, egg rolls, roll specials, and fried Vietnamese chicken wings for appetizers are all delicious. The Pho had very large portions the combination and house special were both great selections. Had a variety of chili paste on the table to add additional spice.

Service was slow / my dinner came out more than 5 minutes after my husbands. Setting was peaceful and relaxing Including the background music! The staff was very pleasant! I am a VERY picky eater but gave it a try due to my husband!! I feel sure we will be back. The pork chop had a teriyaki kind of flavor. The salad dressing was amazing. They don’t serve coffee and the tea cups are tiny but you get a big pot!!!

This was my first experience with Vietnamese cuisine. I ordered the pho with rare steak. My wife ordered the steak and flank. We were served a plate of jalapeños, bean sprouts, and fresh basil to accompany the pho. The bowls were hue and the smell was intoxicating. The aromatic herbs in the pho were perfectly used. The flavor was incredible. The atmosphere was great and our server was very attentive and polite. Definitely a return trip in the future

The atmosphere is amazing! Such a good vibe and good music. I’ve had a lot of Vietnamese and this was very good! Would make a great date place and it’s affordable! Would come again. Staff was sooo nice and never had to wait for anything.

This was my second visit to Pho 97. The atmosphere is lovely. The service was quick and the food was great! The bánh cuon was wonderful! The spring rolls were yummy and the peanut sauce was delicious. We had to try the fried chicken “nuggets” they were perfectly crispy and the sauce that accompanied it was very flavorful. We also had a couple of drinks there as well they were very refreshing. The Che ba mau is a must it was cool, sweet and a great end to a wonderful meal.

Walking into Pho 97 your eyes meet about 15 different decor trends trying to come together to create an ambience. Unfortunately, the cavernous space makes it difficult for all of this to come together into a coherent vision. More important though is the food; in that area you won’t be disappointed, but not exactly blown away by either. It’s GOOD and definitely worth a try for Shenandoah residents.

I ordered egg roll which had a good bit of lettuce, dipping sauce, shredded carrots and a little bit of noodles in the container. The egg rolls were nice and crispy and cut in halves. Amazing flavor. I also ordered Pho with rare steak and extra flank. It came with the broth in a separate container and it was good and hot, the meat, noodles, peppers and leafy greens were in a larger tub and bag combo. I just had to pour the broth into the larger container and dig in with the provided quantity chopsticks. The Pho was outstanding, delicious and fresh. I bet it is even better in person.

I had the Spring Rolls and Grilled Chicken Vermicelli for lunch today. The Spring rolls were better than average but the vermicelli was excellent. This place was not busy at all with just one other table being occupied. My server was polite and fast. This is not the best pho joint in town but it is absolutely acceptable and I am delighted to have it in my neighborhood.
