This mild mannered gas station/ convenience store has a Skippers!!!!! I thought they were all gone. The chowder is just like I remember. The fish is good, but it’s no longer cod. It’s talapia or white fish. Still has the awesome breading! The fries are very good too!

Food was good but not the original Skippers recipe. I was really looking forward to that good old Skippers flavor that I know and loved so much. Although I did not receive exactly that I still had a good basket of fish and chips so it was a win either way. The chowder was the closest to the old recipe. The menu however was much more vast than just fried fish, I need to go back soon and explore some of the great options they had. The prices were pretty decent too. The fish was great. I wish I could say the same about the service. I ordered a 2 piece basket, and was told that there was no coleslaw. I asked if I could have chowder instead, and was told that I would have to pay extra. Doesn’t seem right to me.
