Playa does a great job with their bowls. The space is so cute and they have a lot of topping choices. I would, however, like to see nutrition facts and calorie counts posted, but mostly, they need a smaller bowl/healthier choice options! They could also use a kids menu as their bowls are very large!

I was trying to place an order online as I always do, but I kept getting an error at check out that told me to call the store…so I called to place an order since I had a sick child in the car and did not want to wait when I got there, but the employee told me that they are no longer able to take orders over the phone and refused to do so. I will be going elsewhere from now on. It’s a shame that this place had such bad customer service, because the bowls are pretty good. it’s worth mentioning that the girls who work here have an extreme attitude problem. The last time I was in, there was a girl taking the trash out and she walked right in front of me as I was going to the front door, she cut right in front, looked me in the face, but did not even hold the door for a guest walking in, just let it shut in our face! So…today’s experience was kind of the last straw. Kids today have no work ethic, just rude and entitled.

The service here is aPauling, we waited almost 5 minutes to even be greeted. The girl at the front was very rude and acted like she didn’t want to take our order. Whenever our bowls were finally done I looked at my bowl and asked her if there was almond butter, Keep in mind almond butter is an extra charge. She continued to tell me that there was almond butter, even though it looked like there was a slight watery drizzle. If you are the manager looking at this, please review who you’re hiring. Not to mention whenever we walked in there were employees, or maybe not employed she didn’t even have on the correct shirt. Walking behind the counter making their own bowls, and sitting right infront of where your supposed to get your order.

Playa bowls are delicious, but whoever is managing this location needs to employ more people! Today only one person was working and there were so many people lining up and placing orders. It is so unfair to stress out this singular employee with no assistance whatsoever! This is not the only day they have been shortstaffed. I am a frequent visitor and this is the usual situation. Playa Bowls are not an expensive treat and surely you can afford to employ the staffing needed to serve both your employees and your customers.
