I’d rate it as fair. Wait staff was friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is pleasant. The food portions were plentiful however a bit bland for Italian cuisine. The pasta sides were under cooked, not to al dente. The calamari was more batter than squid. I was surprised to find out that they only make about half of their pastas in house.

I’ve only been here once but i got very mixed feelings about it. The restaurant itself is beautiful with a cozy and moody atmosphere so it’s very relaxing and perfect for a long chat with your significant other/friends. I had the veal, polenta and mushroom dish which was delicious. The veal was super tender, veggies were flavorful so I really enjoyed it! My husband had the fettucine Alfredo with grilled chicken, however the chicken was so dry that he couldn’t eat it. So it was a bit off putting to pay an extra $7 or so for something that he just left on the plate.. For dessert I had the chocolate cake which was okay but a little too rich for my taste. Hubby had the cheesecake which was so fluffy and delicious, however the strawberry that was on the side was pretty much brown about to become moldy.. so yeah not too sure what to think when everything is so hit and miss. I am willing to give it another go though. Hopefully it will be an overall better experience than our first one.

This is a LOVELY Italian spot with excellent flavors. Reservations are paramount; but if you’re in the mood for hearty flavors and didn’t make one- fear not, call in for take out! Just know they organize take out availability in slots- to avoid getting jammed with orders. The establishment is well kept and feels glitzy. Great spot for special occasions and good views. Support this local spot!

I’m torn on this but what happened to me wasn’t right. I was served dinner and as he sat it down I saw a spider on my food and immediately said something and pushed the food away. The waiter took my food away after he saw the spider and I thought they were going to recook it but the waiter came out and said is it just okay to bring that food back out? I paused and looked at him and then he started to say he could get it recooked for me but at that point everything was starting to get awkward and there was a crowded restaurant and I didn’t want to make a scene and have all eyes on me, so I said I guess it’s okay. After having to deal with all of that the manager came to our table and we explained it was our 12th anniversary and he was apologetic but he didn’t try to right anything what so ever and in the heat of the moment and not trying to cause a scene we just wanted to get out of there. We just do not feel like we had the greatest experience and I really wish they would’ve tried to right our experience somehow. It’s a shame because the food was good but this experience marred my view of the establishment.

This was a great experience. Authentic Italian food, a very good waitress, and quite the panoramic view. The veal was outstanding, as was the minestrone soup. My wife also liked the seafood lasagna special, even if the portion was too big for her. All in all, a good place for special occasions.

Great place. Definitely going back again and again……………. The garlic bread!!! Yum!!! The calamari fritti Yum!!!! The veal was so tender. The lasagna was just other worldly and the tiramisu was just on another level. Great experience and such a wonderful atmosphere. You guys rock. RAIDER ROB AND TIFFANY.

First time customer. Our meal and food service was outstanding. The bar however was disappointing, Bartenders do not know how to make basic cocktails and it took forever to get my husband’s beer. The tiramisu was also disappointing . No flavor, tasted like the inside of a refrigerator that badly needs a box of baking soda.

Since my last delivery experience I’ve not been back but that was 2018 when delivery was just getting started, it was a weekend night and they were busy but the woman who took my order was incredibly rude and my shrimp pasta came looking like someone had squeezed it out between their fingers, so I didn’t eat it. However both my dine-in experiences over the years have been awesome – Excellent service, beautiful view of the cliffs and great food. Recommend dine-in the ambiance and price would be worth it. Ordering out, not so much.

Im really kind of disappointed in this restaurant. The service was not the best. The server did not introduce herself and did not seem interested in our dinning experience.I expected better as i grew up in San Francisco experiencing fine dinning. The food was good. The service is a big part of the evening! Sorry. Not that good.
