The sushi here is top notch! Very fresh and the chefs really take their time to ensure the presentation is perfect. The staff is quick, friendly, helpful, and caring. The place is clean, aesthetic, and the ambience is very welcoming. You need to give this place a try!

Sooooo delicious! Highly recommend! I’m a sushi lover, so I know what I’m talking about. Salmon nigiri were very generous, huge pieces of salmon as I like ☺️ and tasty fish. I also tried Capital roll – worth every penny! It contains tuna, salmon, yellowtail, super white tuna and wrapped by white seaweed with eel and avocado on top. Yummy!!!

Giving this place a 2 star due to rude service provided by the server staff. Ordered Gyozha dumplings (6) which were tasty but small in size. Ordered Pork Katau (as pictured), which was also tasty but sort of bland. Tried sushi from a friend’s order which was good. Unfortunately the server might have been having a rough day or misunderstood us as when the bill came we politely asked a question about the price. Instead of politely showing the correct price on dinner side of menu, the server kept on rudely insisting that we were looking at lunch prices. We told her we dont want to argue and just want to see where the correct price is reflected. We were able to locate it ourselves and then she confirmed. However her rude accusatory tone made jt seem like we were trying to get discount (which is not the case). We paid and left , however the interaction left a bad taste so i will personally try to avoid this place. Food also took over 30 minutes to arrive. The server made no attempt to ask if we wanted desserts and quickly brought check without asking.

Sushi was good but not my favorite sushi restaurant. I don’t really eat sushi (raw) items. The folks I was with said it was ok. I had the Takoyaki balls and they were delicious. Grilled hibachi shrimp was delicious. We also had the stuffed jalapeno peppers. They were good. I would need to try some other items. Overall food was good, people were friendly and restaurant is clean. For dessert we had mochi ice cream and fried cheesecake. Very delicious.

This is my go-to place in Springfield for sushi. I usually order take out, but recently I chose to dine in. I wanted to decompress and their atmosphere was nice and relaxing. The miso soup had so much love put into it. I felt as if a blanket was wrapped around me. The Dragon roll is my favorite roll to get, I love the taste of eel! The hot sake was good as well. The staff are so wonderful to interact with. I will always recommend this place!

It’s been a long time since we dined in, TBH, but Taiko is our absolute sushi go—to in the Springfield area. Very friendly staff and excellent quality. We like places that don’t overdo the cream cheese and baked/cooked options; c’mon, it’s sushi! And we love that they offer delivery to our house. We have loved the Capital, Taiko, Fire Phoenix, Mango Madness and White House signature rolls (esp the Taiko). Rainbow roll is excellent. Sakura roll was interesting. We did not love the Sushi Sandwich roll – it just needed something else. All in all: a great place for sushi.

This has become my go-to local sushi place. The sushi is always fresh, the portions are reasonable as well as the prices. They have several creative rolls…two of my favorites are the Naruto and the Sushi Sandwich.

Dine in sushi dinner for one. My favorite is Sakura, if I were a sushi roll she’d be me. Stuffed with lobster salad, yellowtail and jalapeño and topped with a fresh scallop. She comes with her own yuzu sauce. I also got the Lobster Mango which is really good. But Sakura has my heart. The green tea is the bomb too.
