First time eating here. If ever in Havana again, we’ll definitely stop, and maybe next time, try the fish sandwich. We had gotten the onion rings, which I do recommend, we also got the Babe’s shoe and the Tenderloin sandwich. We did this so we could share, but it never happened. Why? Because we never made it to the Tenderloin, oh, we cut a part off to try it and let me say this is a must try. Breading was perfect, and the pork was so full of flavor, and juicy and the “M” word (some don’t like that word) with each chew it was still juicy. We made the decision to just eat the Babe cause we thought the Tenderloin would be better reheated. We could barely finish the Babe, and we only got a half of one (I’d hate to see how big a full order is. We really like the Babe. The patty had a nice charcoal flavor, we liked also that it had other topping on it as well. Would we get them again, yes, most definitely. Had to ask for tape so I could close my to-go container, and this was after I took it apart and placed everything together like a puzzle. Almost had to ask for another container. That Tenderloin could feed 2 people. So, like I said, yes, we’d go back. The food was awesome. The service was great, and the atmosphere was very cozy. So yes, if you’re thinking of stopping for the price and portions and everything as a whole, it is worth it

Was in Havana today, went to Babe’s on Plum. Had the homemade onion rings with the BPT. Upon arrival the plate was full. The BPT and rings were a bit greasy. I don’t do buns, so set it of to the side. The flavor was good with a nice flavor seasoning. Was not crunchy which to me is a negative. Size was more than enough and thickness was good. Would I go back, probably not the grease was too much for my liking.

Our group of 8 dined at Babes. 1 person in our group did not get his food until the rest of us were half finished eating. Someone from the kitchen came to the table, apologized and stated that the order had been missed. All this was ok however, no compensation was made on his bill.

Great food and a nice atmosphere. I had a hamburger pony my wife had a BBQ pony and my daughter had a tenderloin sandwich. The ponys were good and the tenderloin was phenomenal. It was thicker than a usual tenderloin bit was good. Also the ponys had homemade fries which were excellent. I would highly recommend going there.

Everything is so delish it tasted like fresh made everything down to the salad dressings. The sweet potato casserole is a must, sweet cinnamon infused bowl of magic . Fried clams and Catfish sandwich so succulent!!! And the HorseShoes are OMG This is a must visit no matter where your coming from

Went to Illinois with my parents for vacation never been there my mom told me about babes so I knew I had to try it I had a burger tasted great I had some onion rings that went as a side also was great . The waitresses were very friendly the atmosphere was inviting , very vibrant

Great local place. Fried chicken on Sunday is a must get and don’t mis the homemade beer battered deep fried mushrooms. The beer is cold. They have luve music in the garden generally every Sunday in the summer along with their sister business The Stag.

The waitress was rude and her attitude and her ugly facial expression were so upsetting. She made my kids scared by her actions. I would never eat there again. I am not sure how the food was because she made it unpleasant for us.

Had dinner with the family, and the food was delicious! I had the southwest burger and homemade chips. The only complaint I would have was that the bun was too big. The service was great, and the food came out quickly. Next time, I will try the Ribeye as the flavor of the burger was great, and I’m hoping the steak will have a similar flavor. They also have a bar, and I look forward to trying it as well.
