FWD is my favorite restaurant in Manhattan Beach. Dinner was fabulous tonight and we are all big fans of the restaurant now. We sat at the chef’s counter, which was really great because you can see them preparing the shellfish. Our server Elijah was very prompt and did a great job. They have a lot of great options on the menu, so it was hard to choose because I wanted so many different items. It’s quite small on the inside, but in a cozy sort of way. Parking in the area was pretty easy for us, we found metered parking a block away.

We were so glad we came by. No reservation and we got to sit outside in the warm sunshine and have the LA Restaurant Week luncheon menu. I highly recommend you get there quick or, just go for delicious oysters & fun drinks!!

Everything we ordered was incredible… from drinks, apps, entrees, and desserts. It doesn’t get better than this for seafood. All of the flavors and sauces were absolutely delicious. Our waitress Shelbi was very awesome and gave us great suggestions on what to order. It’s our new favorite restaurant! Highly recommend!

Excellent service! We had a reservation for five, the manager and the fantastic waitress Alex attended us right away and made us feel at home. We started with drinks, but the real star were the appetizers and entrees. We were lucky to have lobster that was captured that morning… the scallops, oysters, and shrimp were very fresh and tasty.

Food is great here! First went here in 2016 before it was as crowded and popular as it is now. Food is still really good. Make reservations if you want to eat inside , we had no reservations and ate outside and it was hot but tolerable bc it was cloudy coverage ..it would have been intolerable had the sun been out as there are no umbrellas. Waitress was nice as was the man who was walking around very tall blond. The shrimp tacos were very good the added chicharron was a pleasant surprise didn’t know I was missing that on tacos. The ceviche was also very good
