We had pork cheek, tri tip, hanger, rib eye, large intestine, abomasum, cabbage salad. $97. Servers all speak Japanese and were attentive. I love the smoke free grill literally won’t smell anything on hair or clothes unlike any other bbq places. Great atmosphere for dates.

Best food ever in my life! Almost never tasted anything like this. If could I will go back. The lychee ice cream is the best ice cream in the dessert. We will be back.

Food was okay. After tax and tips, above $100 per person. I had expected more about the taste. Normal service. They don’t allow you to bring outside drinks in. There are more better options to go with this price.

There are only a few slices of each meat dish. If you want to get full, you’ll probably have to pay at least $150 per person. The most uncomfortable part is that they have been trying to get you to leave as soon as possible, including telling us to order last call, constantly taking away plates, giving us the bill, and finally directly interrupting us and asking us to leave even though we are still enjoying dessert and talking.

Always an enjoyable experience, i take my parents atleast 1-2 times a month, we usually get the kobe Course comes with about 12 or so different premium items on the menu from kimichi, salad, edamame, kobe/wagyu meats, shrimp and rice including dessert.

This is the Costa Mesa outlet of Manpuku Japanese Yakiniku Restaurant. Most of the beef are USDA Prime or American Wagyu type cuts. They did offer 3.5 oz Grade A5 chuck steak sliced to 6 pieces at $68. We ordered quite a variety of cuts including tongue, skirt steak, hanger steak, ribeye, etc. Their butter fried rice was a bit small to share but was quite good. Kimchi sample is also good but a bit pricy. They give you a free ice cream plate for your birthday. Parking is quite limited on this popular strip mall due to other quite popular restaurants, tea shops and bar inside.

All the meats are fantastic! But the mushrooms are not good for grilling, because the temperature of the grill is too hot for vegetables.

I liked it but not enough to fight the line or the parking lot to eat at. I enjoyed the meat here but I feel like there are other places I would prefer to eat at with less stress and less waiting.

The cabbage salad is a unique salad with a delicious miso garlic? dressing. The assorted kim chee is a must. We did the $45 per person pre fixe menu. This was the first time, though I’ve been coming here for years. It was a lot of food, so definitely worth the money. However, I really prefer just ordering the salted prime and tongue. It’s more depending on how much you eat, but the pre fixe might be too much food for most. Great value though. The one thing I don’t like is getting rushed. They try to get you out in 2 hours, but we were only there for an hour and they immediately brought the check. One of my pet peeves when you are paying $300 for four people. Oh and they have a great ox tail soup, but didn’t have it this time. Parking is also a pain.
