We had to catch the rail ride and for cheap parking, so we reached this neighborhood early in the morning (8 AM). we visited this restaurant for breakfast & coffee. The decor is amusing and unique, This place is Alice’s tea party, it nailed that ambiance. The chairs had heart-shaped backs which perfectly fit the theme.

The food and service at the Mad Hatter were great! They have a nice porch area where you can eat outside. I highly recommend the Catfish Po Boy!

There’s definitely a lot to look at in this quaint place. It takes you back to Alice in wonderland. I had the smoked brisket sandwich, it was good. It’s somewhat like a cafeteria with plastic forks and the food was served in all disposable dishes. I was okay with it but some people may not like that.

Such a cute place with tons of unique and eclectic decor. The food was really good and the mixed drinks were phenomenal. The owner was the server and he worked his butt off. You could tell he cared about the customers.

Had a great breakfast at the Mad Hatter! Excellent coffee, good service and a really wild and eclectic look. Always nice to see a playable acoustic guitar in the corner! Very good vibes from the place. All the food looked excellent. ( We sat next to a large party and the pancakes and sandwiches looked amazing!) Next time we will go later to try the wine. Will return. And Cosgrove was a most excellent maitre d’hotel!

Was sat down outside of rush time. Sat for 40minutes without getting food. People around us complained that it was microwaved burgers and fries. You could actually hear the beeping and opening/closing of the microwave door from the kitchen. Got up and left.

Went here for a quick bite and some drinks over my birthday weekend and really enjoyed our time here. We had chicken quesadillas which were awesome and listened to Dave play Beatles songs on the piano. Will definitely come back

A good place for some reasonably priced food. Don’t expect it to be world class, but for the price it is great. And there is cute dog. What more could you want?

The food was decent but the service was terrible. It took them almost an hour to come out with my French toast and scrambled eggs that takes 5 mins to make. The lady made an excuse that her daughter dropped it but still took forever to come out. In addition, a table across from me ordered after me and still got their food first. Terrible service do yourself a favor and don’t come here. Their coffee sucks and stay away.
