I absolutely loved J&M barbecue. I visited from out of town and they treated me so well!! Their chopped beef is really good but their turkey is the best turkey I’ve ever had yall no joke. It was so juicy! Their catfish is really good too! Y’all everything is good I highly recommend! Definitely going to visit again just for their barbecue. I loved it

Visiting from central TX I was looking for a good example of Lubbock que. J&M was definitely a hit for me. The brisket was cooked just right and just the right amount of fat. The sauce was good but not needed, I just wish it was a little spicier, the “spicy” option did not do much for my hill country pallette. Worth a trip if you’re visiting!

J & M has been around a long while and has changed ownership over the years. But it feels the same and the food is still good. I think I first went in 1995. Anyway, this past visit was nice – really friendly people and good bbq.

We had a late night craving for BBQ. We decided to eat here as the reviews were good. We got there and the staff was a mess. I don’t know what happened before we got there, but the staff were all arguing with each other. The staff was disheleveld.
