I had an appointment with the caterer to plan for an event in August. The brochure she provided was thorough. She starred items she thought would fit our needs after taking the time to listen. I couldn’t have been more satisfied with Tiina’s help with planning for our event . She was professional, knowledgeable, informative, and had very practical suggestions for ways to stretch our budget and make our event the best possible. We look forward to working with Tiina and the Taste of Scandanavia.

Walking in, this place has a nice vibe. They have a variety of food items you can purchase to take home. (soup, pastries, cakes, etc.) When I’ve been there in the mornings they have large portioned pastry samples to try. We usually grab a sample after we order our food. Looking at the menu I usually feel like the food costs more than I would want to spend on breakfast. ($8-$10) However, when the food comes out I quickly forget about the price. The plate sizes aren’t huge but I’ve always really enjoyed what I’ve ordered. The fresh fruit crepe… oh my goodness that was happy experience. All in all I’m really happy Taste of Scandinavia is in our neighborhood for an easy and delicious morning breakfast.

I came in at about 8am on a Thursday. Many of the pastries had already been sold, but I purchased a lingonberry pulla, vanilla pulla, almond heart, and orange roll. EVERY SINGLE THING was delicious!! The person behind the counter was helpful and kind. It was a delicious purchase and I will be coming back more to share with coworkers and friends (easy to do, as the prices are very doable!)

I tried the sampler. I enjoyed the lingonberry pancakes and French toast. Just enough to be full, but not stuffed. Highly recommend the restaurant and menu item.

Overall a delicious place for breakfast and the bakery looked fantastic. We got the Swedish sampler(not super sweet and very hearty) and the sweet Scandinavian lefse(delicious but also very sweet). We would like to go back and try more!
