This was the worst experience at Osaka we have ever had. There was a leak in the roof that dripped on our table the entire dinner. (Rain bucket pic attached) At the end they thought they were doing something by giving us a $10 discount! The servers were slow and we repeatedly asked for refills and a missing fork. The chef we had admitted this was the first time he ever cooked. He forgot two entrees completely! Finally they used to give larger portions so you had leftovers. We barely had enough on the plate to fill us up. For $322 it just wasn’t worth all the hassle. Never. Ever. Again.

We live in Culpeper and don’t mind making the drive to be able to eat hibachi made on the grill since the one in Culpeper does not offer it anymore. Each meal has always been hot and delicious, I do wish you got a bit more rice if you want double rice since you pay extra for it, but other than that we love coming here for date nights. Service is always good too!

If you’re traveling I wouldn’t recommend this place. I’m paying $60 for a half of a plate! I’m never in my 29 years went to a Japanese restaurant that I didn’t even have extra food to take with me. The portion of the food ain’t worth it. The veggies is normally the first thing on the plate and it came out last ! Very disappointed

This is my first and last time eating here. When I called to place an order, they guy that answered had no idea what he was doing. Then this meal I received was almost $20 and my daughter went in to pick it up and says the lady was rude. I will definitely be going back to Culpeper. You can get a kids meal like this with a salad with more food for half this price and better service.

This is my 6 year old daughter’s favorite restaurant…weird, but true for a small kid,…we eat here on average 6 times a year and the service and food are consistent and delicious every visit. The drinks are slow to be refilled, but we’ve always left stuffed and with to-go boxes!

My family and I have always gone to Osaka as our go-to hibachi restaurant, and have even been getting takeout from Osaka every month or so during the pandemic. We always look forward to it! Their service is consistently good, and their sushi platters are always filled with a good variety of different items! (I’m also an avid fan of their fried rice, shrimp, and yumyum sauce).

This restaurant is disgusting. Smells likes rancid grease. Everything, including the carpet has a layer of grease on it. Sushi was gross and fishy. So disappointing. Can’t believe this place passes inspection, it is the dirtiest restaurant I have ever been in.
