I am a huge Kansas City barbecue style and tried one Texas Barbecue style before Pinkerton’s. This is by far one of the best Barbecue experience I have had in my life. I had burnt ends, brisket, and the sandwich. The burnt ends are insanely delicious and juicy. The brisket is definitely on the fatty side, if you like it this way it’s the place to go. I wouldn’t get the sandwich next time and will try the beef ribs instead. The original bbq sauce is delicious and balanced between sweet and little kick of spicy. I was intentionally eating the meat without the sauce to taste the quality of the beef. Overall I would go to this place so many times. So far best BBQ in Houston.

Pinkertons BBQ is the epitome of authentic BBQ delight! Sundays have become my BBQ haven, thanks to their absolutely amazing brisket and ribs. The fact that they use halal Creekstone meat is a major plus.

4/21/23 – This was my first visit to Pinkerton’s Barbecue. The brisket and sausage were great. I was very surprised that they don’t serve barbecue chicken. They did have turkey which wasn’t very good. There is both indoor and outdoor seating. Onsite parking is limited. Kinda pricey.

First time visiting San Antonio, Texas and I had to try some BBQ. Best BBQ I’ve had in my entire life. It was so moist and juicy. Had the brisket and pork ribs with potato salad, jambalaya and beans. Jambalaya was okay and I didn’t try the beans but my family liked it. Expect to spend $$$$ because it’s not cheap. I recommend splitting it with your family.

It’s been a long time since we have had a BBQ this good. They were patient with us at the counter as we figured out what to have and how big of a portion to get. The brisket sandwich was tender and didn’t need any sauce, but their homemade sauce brought out the flavor even more! Great food, great atmosphere! Come hungry, leave full!

We ordered the dino rib (it is the best one I’ve hand in Houston so far. Superior meat and excellent smoke. 30$/lb. Brisket was good & has great smoke but could use more flavor, it definitely posited well with the sauces. pork ribs were tasty but overcooked, sausage needs work. Their sauces are sweet.

Best brisket and pork ribs!! Looooove this place. The brisket is also flavorful and juicy so you don’t need barbecue sauce at all. The pork ribs are so tender they fall off the bone. I also love the jalapeño cheese rice there, it’s different than any other side dish I’ve had.

Halal Brisket and Ribs in Houston Texas. Must try Brisket. It’s mouthwatering. We missed the Ribs since it was sold out by an hour ! Love the food. Make sure to ask about Halal options. They usually bring Beef from Creekstone farm. Which price halal beef. Thank you for providing the Halal Brisket. Love to come back again.

The brisket and turkey are absolutely delicious! My friends also really enjoyed the jalapeño sausage and the bacon mac and cheese. The barbecue sauce is sweet, but still a great compliment to a chopped brisket sandwich.

Overall, we had a good experience at Pinkerton; however, it was not as spectacular as I was expecting given the hype. The meat was very good, especially the ribs, but I felt that some of the other items like sausage was a bit dry. The sides had a lot of potential (we got beans, potato salad, and Mac n Cheese) but ended up not excelling. While the meal overall was not bad, I believe there are other barbecue places in Houston that deliver a better all around experience.
