I wasn’t expecting Cajun flair in Discovery Bay, but this place has it! Taste This Kitchen is a lovely small restaurant with a welcoming vibe and strong menu. I had the Jambalaya, which was excellent. Spice level offered a good kick without setting me on fire. Delicious flavor and perfectly done rice. My dining companion had what easily the best looking Caesar salad with chicken I’ve seen in ages. She reported that it was delicious while gobbling it down. Friendly and attentive servers as well. Absolutely worth a visit; the menu variety certainly supports coming back for more!

Outstanding experience. Get out and support this restaurant. The food is absolutely amazing. Had the TTK Smash Burger and the JBird Spicy Chicken Sandwich. Also shared the Delta Wedge. My kids got the grilled cheese and the Mac and Cheese. I want that mac and cheese to myself next time I go. Everything was by far the best food I’ve had in the area by a million.

My son and I had the pleasure of dining at “Taste This Kitchen” for the first time on a delightful Friday early evening. Upon entering, we noticed there were only three occupied tables, including ours, but we were not deterred. As the evening progressed, we found ourselves to be the sole diners in the restaurant. Despite the quiet ambiance, we were in for a pleasant surprise – the food was simply outstanding, rivaling even high-end establishments but at a reasonable price point.

Great food and fantastic service. This is my go to breakfast or brunch spot. The food is so flavorful and afresh fresh fresh! I don’t feel like my potatoes lived in the bottom of a freezer for a year like some other places etc. I also love their wait staff they are upbeat and friendly and great at what they do! Also just try the Cajun Benedict I promise it’s delicious!
