Hidden in Wells River, tucked between some buildings you’ll find a small retro RV trailer that’s been converted into a micro food truck. Don’t let the size or place fool you. The food here is exceptional. We had their burgers and French fries and they were incredibly good! They have sone special method of cooking the French fries which make them particularly crunchy and tasty. The burgers were really, really great too. Definitely worth going out of your way for breakfast or lunch!

It doesn’t look like much but I was very impressed with the cheeseburger with lettuce tomato cheese and mayo was amazing and the waffle fries were delicious as well. Generous portion too.

Another great lunch (breakfast also) in Wells River VT. Hatchbox, a small pop up at the intersection of US 5 and 302 (tucked off the road behind the ice cream shop) is dishing up delicious stuff. I had a bleu cheeseburger with caramelized onions and Beth had the Cheesesteak sub. Top notch fries on the side. Surprisingly large menu, so I have many more stop-bys in the near future. It’s great to see these developments in the Northeast Kingdom. Highly recommended.

We found HATCHBOX passing through on the NEBDR and very thankful we did. The breakfast sandwich was amazing. Probably the best we had all trip and the prices couldn’t be beat. We ate at the picnic tables out back, relaxing setting. This place was awesome.

Got to say I was pleasantly surprised. I stopped in next door and saw the sign that said bugers. I thought well, what the hell might as well give this tiny little trailer a shot. First impression was too small to be good. Boy was I wrong. First off, lots of choices for condiments and cheeses not to mention that burgers are not the only options on the menu. There is breakfast too! One of the best burgers I have had in a very very long time! All I can say is, I can’t wait to try the steak and cheese sub!

This little place is great! There’s a good amount of seating in the back with nice greenery all around. The burgers were amazing, the tomatoes, pickles and lettuce were so fresh and vibrant. The choices and selections were nice, including waffle fries, and all day breakfast! We’ll definitely be back for more, loved it.

This tiny trailer serves up some delicious breakfast sandwiches! The owner is super nice and cooks everything right there to order. Very cute and clean, and there’s a lovely lawn area with benches and umbrellas to enjoy your food alfresco. Highly recommend!
