This is my third time coming to SHIMA with excellent service from Chef Camellien, Chef Emilio, our server Erin and fellow server Reggie. I brought some friends with me for my birthday weekend and we decided to make this our last stop before going home and we were more than satisfied. It was such a delight to see all three of my friends, two of which had dinner here for the first time, enjoy all the food and they are coming back! Also, I was surprised with a pistachio tiramisu served with green tea ice cream (the ice cream kinda tasted like light coffee) which was SO good and I had to share because I was full from The Royal sushi roll, Wakame Salad, and Avocado Tuna Tower. If you are skeptical about sushi altogether, there are cooked options like the Island Crunch Futomaki which has a fried outer core and they also have Chicken & Waffles, different Fried Rice versions, Chicken & Waffles, Coconut shrimp, etc if you desire something else. I’m coming back again because the quality of food is superb and they make you feel comfortable like you’re having dinner at home.

We are big foodies and came down to the keys for an afternoon. We decided to stay for dinner and search up some new places. Shima is the real deal! It is definitely a must try around marker 88 in the keys. We will be back. It can be good for couples or older children. Everything see tried was amazing!

From start to finish our experience was unlike anything we’ve ever had. When I tell you every single expectation we had was not only met, but over exceeded. The staff were friendly and helpful, but even better the comrade between them was like nothing we’d ever seen before. Everyone seemed to help each other out. We sat at the bar and got a front row seat to watching Daniel and the owner make the most beautiful rolls. The skill they both have is simply something that can’t be taught. My husband and I ordered two apps and two rolls each. After we finished our meals, we were both so amazed at how much we enjoyed our rolls, we ordered one more each. And just when we thought we couldn’t eat any more, we got the pleasure of speaking with the gentleman who makes their desserts. We left our dessert pick up to him. He brought out the most BEAUTIFUL bread pudding which tasted just as amazing as it looked. From start to finish our experience at Shima was the best we’ve had in our three years of coming down here!

Oh yum! Went for our 1st time and we each loved our food and I was elated that they had vegan options and were so friendly about it when I inquired. We will be back for sure!! Highly recommend you give it a try. I had the Lotus, hubby had Island Crunch Futomaki and friend had The Royal.

AMAZING! We stumbled upon this hidden gem on a Monday night. What an amazing treat! We originally had plans for dinner at another restaurant, but they were closed. I think we scored and had a WAY better meal. The staff were attentive and the food was fresh, prepared perfectly. I’d say the best sushi I have ever had!

Pleasant surprise. Probably some of the best sushi I’ve had in Florida. The smoked pork dumplings were next level and so was the Coco Loko roll and the Avocado Tower. If you are in the area this is a must visit.

What a wonderful and refreshing concept for dinning experience! Chef Drew has been an extremely popular private chef that I’ve had the pleasure of working with for many years and I could not be happier for him and Kelsey on the opening of this stunning Champagne and Sushi bar! Not only is the food on point but the atmosphere is modern and makes you want to hang out and be there… the staff was very warm and welcoming and thankfully knew their menu! I highly recommend stopping in to experience Shima!!

Best place for sushi on the keys by far. Love the desert as well. I also love the design of the inside and outside. The best part was definitely the chicken fried rice. The edamame was also really good. If you are down in the keys I would definitely recommend this place.
