I had passed the Tavern many times when driving through town and finally got to stop in for lunch. It is an unassuming looking place, which often has lots of cars parked there and I was pleasantly surprised. It is very clean, there is a cool bar, lots of indoor and outdoor seating and a large covered outdoor space as well. The server was very friendly and helpful. We had two chicken club salads with ranch and I have to say these were the so delicious. I never expect a salad to taste that good. The chicken was warm and very juicy, the salad very flavorful and the ranch dressing tasted homemade. We look forward to coming back for dinner including wings!

Found this place last summer and have gone back many times. The food and service are always excellent and the outdoor seating is best. The land in back is wooded with a natural creek running through it. When the weather is nice, we enjoy walking around or playing a game of cornhole while we wait for our food. The laid-back atmosphere is perfect for relaxing and enjoying a good meal.

I’ve been here before and wasn’t a fan of the food prior, but we decided to go again because it’s been awhile and the menu sounded appealing. The ambience is mediocre. They have the stream which is nice, but you hear the traffic on 202 which is a negative. The descriptions of the food sound great. My slow roast half duck sounded good. However the skin was soggy and fatty. Perhaps if they cooked and served it as medallions it would have been easier. I got the glazed baby carrots as a side. They looked dry, but were ok. They did have a slight flavor, but I didn’t see any glaze. My wife’s Tavern chicken wasn’t great either. Pricing is the same as upscale New Milford, Washington area, but not at the same level

I went here a few times and loved this place. The burgers were amazing. Went there yesterday with some friends and we got food poisoning. I asked for well done and the burger came out quite pink. I was surprised to hear my friends have been sick all day too so I know this place made us sick. Chills, nausea, diarrhea, been bed ridden all day from 202. I used to love this place but now will not come back. The restaurant is beautiful especially the outside seating! But can’t come back after today

I went in today for Mother’s Day, the service was good our server Autumn was pleasant and the food was ok. They were very busy, but as I waited in line for the women’s room, all I could hear was a males voice berating servers as they walked in and out of the kitchen. I am not sure who it was but if that is how they treat their employees they can keep their mediocre food, I’d prefer to support local businesses that value their employees.

A nice place. Great relaxed atmosphere. Waitresses are nice and friendly. Food is good and hot (temperature-wise). Drinks are good – no complaints. Overall a pleasant experience.

Went there on Tuesday for lunch this week, the chicken sandwich was what I ordered. It was so thin, it appeared to be all bread which was dry and stale tasting. The fries were good, and the server was also very nice. Not impressed with the food.

Boy is this the place for you if you love food poisoning! 3 people got violently ill after eating cheeseburgers there last night. Glad the owner offered a gift card and the words that everything is made fresh and that hasn’t ever happened there though.
