I was so looking forward to dine here. It was a huge disappointment. To start with, the host (I think he was the owner) was the rudest of all. They sat us at a table that was literally combined with another’s couple table, so we where sharing dinner with strangers, which wasn’t ideal. Moreover the window was opened so we were receiving all the cold air from outside. We moved the table a little bit so we weren’t that close to the other people. That didn’t help since the host came and told us that we couldn’t move the table and he moved it back. On top of that a 9top table sat next to us. To we were having dinner with a 9top and another table. It was insanely tight space. We requested to move, since it was late and a table was leaving. The server told us that if we could wait for her to buss the table. We agreed. Later a busser came and told us: grab for things and move yourself to the other table. Which being said in another voice tone wouldn’t have bothered me, but she was rude. And before the server assisted us, before telling her about trying to move to another table, we have asked to the host/manager, but he rudely replied: I have another reservation for that table. But that was BULLSHHHH!!!!T since it was already 9:30pm and the restaurant was almost getting empty. Food was great but the bread was awful. Only a good server and the rest was so saddening!!! Will never come back 🙁

Good value for money in the centre of San Francisco.

I had the turkey panini and the lobster ravioli and both were delicious. The bruschetta was a miss, the bread was hard & cold. You can get better quality in Little Italy at a better price. The service was great, very welcoming. I’ll definitely be back. Edit 3/31/23 I’ve tried the Appetizers: calamari, the crab cakes & the garlic bread. The garlic bread was the best of the 3 and I wouldn’t order the other 2 again. Dinner: I also tried the dinner portion of the lobster ravioli & for some reason it comes with 2 shrimp instead of lobster. The lunch portion is cheaper and about the same size. I think a squeeze of lemon makes it better, your choice. I also tried the chicken basil I w/penne pasta & the portion size was big enough for two meals so totally worth the price @ $24. The chicken parm is straight up nasty and underwhelming. Desert: Frutta di Bosco was lacking flavor & not worth the price. Ask for the table bread to be heated because it’s not as good cold. If going for dinner check to see if you need reservations. Dinner menu doesn’t include panini’s & check prices for lunch/dinner as they are slightly different.

The eggplant parm was really good, but experience ruined by the waitress’ rudeness. She was beyond obnoxious, not sure what’s going on there. But she was saved by the food.

This is a quaint, little spot downtown. Didn’t have a reservation on a Friday night and the older gentleman told us when to come back. He was absolutely lovely, there’s probably 12-15 tables max, easy to see how the wait can be long at times. The service was impeccable, the other reviews had a different experience or expectations, yet for a nice dinner out for 2 we had a great time. Lobster ravioli, Parmesan bread app and calamari very tasty.

Ordered take out and was mostly disappointed. I ordered the meat lasagna and the sauce wasn’t anything special. It didn’t taste homemade. The dish was just okay. I did order the tiramasu and it was excellent. The main issue I have was that I asked to substitute the vegetables with a house salad and this is what I got in the picture. Okay – maybe they misunderstood me but all I got was romaine lettuce and a little cup of cheese…no dressing at all. Although they just gave me lettuce, not a house salad, maybe they just forgot the dressing.

We love Italian food especially spaghetti carbonara and I must this was probably the best spaghetti carbonara I’ve ever had! Granted I got it without peas (I despise peas) so I didn’t technically get it exactly how it should be prepared. I don’t think I’ll ever try anything else there again because of how amazing this dish was!! Do yourself a favor and go if you are on the fence. 10/10!!!

Ravioli Florentine was good, but definitely not fresh. $23 was about $5 more than it should have been in my opinion. The sauce tasted good. The wine that I buy for $15.99 hit the spot but at $14 a glass was expensive . I get it. San Francisco. But perhaps give a bit more value for the money. Wait staff was awesome.

We visited this quaint little restaurant while on vacation in SF. The sitting is a bit tight, but that was true of everywhere we dinned in the city. We started with some Parmesan Breadwhich came with oils for dipping. There was plenty to share between the four of us. Everyone enjoyed there entree. I had the Chicken Piccata which great. The wine selection was good. I would recommend if you are staying in the area.
