Came in this afternoon to get a bite to eat. I ended up going with a 6″ Stromboli sandwich, a side garden salad, and an Iced tea. The Stromboli sandwich was delicious and the side garden salad was crisp and refreshing! This is my go to meal from now on whenever I decide to go to Brunos all for around $12.00!

Having reviewed many a pizza joints, I had to add a South Bend pizza review. Since we stayed at the Courtyard about 1 block away we ordered a few pizzas since we had a pretty decent sized party and the restaurant looked quite small. Figured 1 block away it wouldn’t take long, however we were wrong on that. This place is either super busy on a Saturday night, or super slow. I’d say they are quite busy on Saturdays. Once the pizza finally arrived I couldn’t wait to try one of each we had ordered. The cheese pizza was somewhat greasy from the cheese. Pizza was exceptionally sweet. If you like sweet pizza sauce this is your place. Sweetest I’ve ever had. Pizza Undercarriage was done well however there wasn’t any snap or crisp to it at all. Now on to the stuffed pizza. Same sweetness from the cheese pizza. Again, has to be that sauce which is a dark red sauce, good tomato flavor, just very sweet. Cheese was again slightly greasy. This stuffed pizza also has no real snap, just a chewiness. One slice of this stuffed pizza and you are filled up. Very, very filling. I actually preferred the stuffed pizza to the regular cheese pizza. All in all, pretty slow to get the food 1 block away, very sweet sauce, definitely distinguishable. While I am not a big fan of sweet sauce, I had to rate accordingly.

We placed an order but they were the same. Rather hum drum to be located where tourist come and go. The same unfriendly people and service. I left thinking I am not coming back here. I only go with my son. He likes those pizza. We have better pizza on our side of town. The pizza had too much hot peppers and seasoning on it. I was very disappointed. The last time I was disappointed the order was not taken right. I don’t go there often. I probably want return. Nobody says much. Kinda of robotic. I suppose the owner is the cook? It’s for a clientele who hasn’t had a better pizza experience. They have two TVs but I have more at home. On stations the manager has chosen. Obviously the pizza could be better in my opinion for the price. A speciality pizza we chose. My son can order over the phone if he chooses to or not. If he wants to keep buying their pizza. So many better pizza places. Go there make your own decision. It’s your choice. I think they have a good location so they continue to get lots of customers from local people and repeat customers. So, they unfriendly because they are established and are not new to the area. I remember, they were nicer and friendly and they had great pizzas!

An absolutely delicious pizza. Generous cheese and toppings with a crispy (original) crust. The crust was slightly burned, intentionally, and crispy. They’re pricier than others but you certainly get a better quality pizza for the extra money. I ordered via DoorDash and it took about 30-40min from order to delivery.

Best pizza I’ve ever had! I took the 16″ stuffed/deep dish pizza with pepperoni and bacon. It was enough for 3 adults and 3 kids plus left overs. The price was right on!

Visiting from Chicago. Pizza was delicious, lots of real cheese! Also had the Italian Sub. Nice portion and great taste. Place was busy, but place was running efficiently and the Staff was pleasant.
