Just stopped here on our cross-country trip, and we were not disappointed! The brisket sandwich and fries were so yummy and HUGE! I had the turkey sandwich with sweet heat and pickles. The pickles really made the sandwich flavor pop. The slaw was great, and we all had enough leftover for dinner.

If you love BBQ, Arthur Bryant’s is like a holy pilgrimage that is definitely worth taking. The full rack of ribs, brisket, and the fries were all life-changingly phenomenal, especially with the rich and spicy version of their sauce. Truly the best BBQ I have ever had the pleasure of devouring — not to be missed if you are in KC!!!

Arthur Bryant’s Barbeque is an absolutely delicious place to eat at. All of the food is amazing and its probably the best barbecue I’ve ever had. I’ll definitely be coming back again from more and introducing my family to the food here as well!

It’s a different experience with meats served on Wonder Bread. The building carries a heavy scent of smoke from decades of business. The onion rings were clumped together and lacked the snap of a quality ring. The beans are thick and rich, definitely a category they do well in.

Came here with a group to get some original Kansas City barbecue. This place has been visited by a ton of celebrities and politicians. Upon entering the building you get the sweet smell of smoke in the air. I know I can start a war here but I’m from Texas so you know how I like my barbecue. I opted to skip brisket (I don’t care what anyone says Texas brisket is the best). I got ribs and sausage. The ribs were seasoned nicely, had a good smoke flavor and were juicy. The sausage was bland, tasted more like smoked bologna. They did have three sauces available at the tables, I tried them all and they were good.

What a great BBQ place! ambiance and aroma and damn great meats!…100% BBQ. So the floor is a little slippery… My clothes will likely retain an aroma of BBQ… And the BBQ was devastatingly delicious!

There was a little bit of a line on Friday for lunch, but it moved fast! I doubt we waited more than 30 minutes to order our food and sit down. Free refill on the soda and huge portions. Great food! We talked to locals in the area, and Arthur Bryant’s is their favorite.

Ribs seem to be what they’re known for, but they were out by 5:15pm. Brisket was dry. Burnt ends were alright, but not worth $17 or the 30+ minute wait in line. Portion size was sufficient, but not as large as other reviews indicated. They were busy on a Saturday before a Royals game and felt unprepared for the rush, even though I expect it happens every weekend that the Royals are playing at home. Didn’t care for their “world famous” sauces much either. I’m no BBQ expert, but I’ve definitely had much better, even in college cafeterias. Overall an underwhelming experience.
