Hit or miss here. Inexperienced kids running the phones, putting you in long holds. Wings and cheese dough consistency good… subs are a big hit or miss. Steak and cheese sub burnt w/ the little meat you get, last time it was good. Showed the girl on the counter the sub… didn’t do anything except “ sorry.” Not worth coming back. Miss the old staff. Better training on the phones and handling the poor food quality from the kitchen w/o getting a manager. Grand Slam is a big strikeout… see picture

Husband got meatball sub which I make fun of him for because I don’t understand the hype; well I do now. I got a calzone and it was the best one I’ve ever had. HARD pass on the house Italian dressing. Really wanted a salad and the dressing was horrible. I’d pick another dressing next time. Lady up front was very nice and friendly.

After a good experience of their delivered pizzas at an event, we thought it would be a good idea to take my elderly parents from Europe to Cuginis. After waking in we were not greeted at all, so I went to the register and asked if we should seat ourselves. The young lady at the counter said “yes”. After waiting at our table for over 10 minutes, feeling somewhat ignored, I went to the young lady again and asked if there was a waitress/waiter of if I needed to order with her. Only then I was told to order there. She only had one (partial) printed menu flyer which I took to the table. We ordered the pizza and a salad and some drinks which were brought to the table after a wait. The pizzas were not at all what I remembered from the previous event, as they were somewhat undercooked. The term “restaurant” is very loosely used as it does have tables and the food is served to them, but that is pretty much the extent of it. At best, this is take out with an option to eat your ordered food at a table.

They never listen. I ordered a pizza with extra sauce just to get home and see that they put less than normal. This isn’t the first time it’s happened but it’s the first time they put little to none on there. So thanks for wasting my money since I won’t eat pizza with bo sauce on it.

Terrible experience ! Ordered 13 toppings Specialty Pizza from the online menu . Turned out to be a disaster with the Pizza made completely soggy and all slices falling apart. Friends came in for Poolesville Day were very disappointed.

Whenever I want a sublime Blanco pizza, I drive out to Poolesville and visit Cugini’s. The white pizza is outstanding and I always add a little red chili peppers to spice it up a bit! Great pizza.
