Great food, friendly staff and clean restaurant. I selected “build your own pizza” and all the toppings that I’d selected were fresh and well seasoned! I guess if I had to critique anything; maybe showcase more pizzas to pick from. I will definitely be back!

Great pizza & sub mom & pop shop! The meatball sub was divine, served on a garlic bread sub roll and toasted to perfection. The small pizza was delicious though I’d wish for just slightly thinner crust. The edges were crispy and it was made exactly how i ordered it (which is sadly, hard to find at other places). Great sauce, too. The large pizza crust looked perfectly thin, but i didn’t try that… Yet, because I’ll be going back.

You GUYS!! I’m born and raised Buffalo NY and I know my pizza. This was hands down the best PIZZA that I have ever tasted in Texas. You definitely do not want to miss out on this place, the owners are amazing and the atmosphere was phenomenal. All around great experience and looking for our next trip there.

Maroni’s is the best pizza in San Marcos by far. I am picky when it comes to fresh ingredients and the pizza here impressed me from the fresh made dough to the delicious mozzarella and the marinara sauce was on point as well!!!! Definitely give this place a try for your next pizza or meatball sub…..

Decent hole in the wall pizzeria. The employee made my day when she offered peanut butter with my pepperoni slice. Yes, you read that correctly, PEANUT BUTTER! She was out of stock, unfortunately. Maybe next time.

Wish I could have reviewed this place as it looked good. Called at 7:40 to order pizza for pickup and they close at 8 pm? On a Saturday? During the summer? In a college town? They need to update their website as it says they close at 9 pm.

Well, this was another pizza leap of faith and I have to admit that it was pretty darn good! My favorite is via 313 in Austin but I would say that this is my 2nd favorite! The crust was very good, crispy and chewy, the cheese was good. The veggies were good and the garlic on it was great. The chix, bacon, ranch was also very good. We got 2 – 10″ pizzas and my son finished his but I couldn’t finish mine. I also got a dinner Caesar salad and it was very good. Overall cost was around 27.00 which I thought was very fair. I would say that this is the best in san marcos so far.. Will be going back!
