I must say this was a great experience for me and my family. From the moment we walked in this place was awesome and the service was wonderful. They are very polite, attentive, friendly, and just amazing in customer service. Now the food omg it was definitely a taste of New Orleans in Texas. The location is easy to find and very clean place to eat. If you just want family time or a me and you get away this is the place to go. I would recommend this place a million times.

This is BY FAR the best I’ve had. My best friend and I happened upon it on the way home from Austin. We can’t wait to go back. Bloody Mary’s are to die for and food is fresh and perfectly prepared. Great service and atmosphere. You will not be disappointed

We stopped at this place while on vacation. We checked into our hotel and changed clothes then we picked a place to eat. I was open to anything but my girlfriend wanted some seafood and we found this place on our phones. It was close by our hotel. When we walked in we were greeted by I guess a hostess who was really rude. She had an attitude like she did not want to be there, and we were bothering her for coming in. The waitress was very friendly and pleasant. We ordered our food, it was quick, and we both liked it. I ordered a Lousiana style Poo Boy with gravy on the side. She ordered calamari and fries.

My wife and visited Toupsie’s for the first time and thought it was great!! I had the New Orleans plate (red beans and rice, chicken, smoked sausage, and garlic bread) and my wife had the crawfish platter (1/2 fried crawfish tails, 1/2 crawfish etouffee, and garlic bread). It was so delicious, we will be back!!

Great place for some fried seafood. Bar girls were nice and the place is very welcoming in general. Catfish basket was good and be sure to try the weird stuff like frog legs. Tastes like chicken I say!

As a true Cajun girl from South Louisiana, I am always nervous about trying “Cajun” restaurants outside of Cajun Country. However, Toupsie’s knows what they’re doing! The food was absolutely amazing, the staff was so friendly, in true Southern style, and the atmosphere and decor were fun and very welcoming. I can’t wait to go back again for more seafood and boudin balls!

Boudain balls were delicious, hamburger amazing. Onion rings were good, but cold. Crawfish were soaking in oil and were extremely spicy.

Chris, our server, was on top of things and very personable. The food was all good. Shrimp tacos were great. Alligator and oysters were properly cooked, not rubbery at all. Sauces were spicy and flavorful. Prices were medium, as expected for the quality of the meals. Definitely going back and taking my whole family.

Started off solid with fried gator. Went downhill from there. Husband had fried shrimp/crawfish po boy and gives a 3. My $20 crabcakes were burned. When I asked to just cook one without overcooking, the kitchen responded they were cooked correctly. Taking home for the dogs. Had to ask for refills. Do not recommend. Will not go back.

The staff is great, the food is always amazing, and Sunday brunch is totally worth it. Also, get the oysters on Friday. They are clean and smooth. (Crawfish omelette and shrimp and grits) The host is a sweetheart; she is Toupies!
