At our Mt Juliet, TN location, we are part of a historic seafood tradition. Captain D’s Seafood Restaurant first opened its doors back on August 15, 1969. A lot has changed since then, but our commitment to serving freshly prepared seafood at a great value has been our core mission from the beginning. Known originally as Mr. D’s Seafood and Hamburgers, Captain D’s was opened in Donelson, Tennessee. From the very start, we set out to provide quality seafood at reasonable prices, a concept that was revolutionary at the time.

I haven’t eaten at Captain D’s in some while. I decided to stop for a late dine-in lunch. The food, very expensive. I ordered the one piece southern fish, combo and small soda. They charged for each side and soda separately. The total was 14.58. The food was under cooked and no taste, nasty. I will not be eating there again.

I had a male version of Karen today.. it’s too much to explain.. their employees have attitudes and the manager is OK with it.. Ordered from UberEats for a restaurant known as Catfish Kitchen, not knowing that it’s actually Captain D’s. My food was cold. I ordered a 4-piece catfish with fries and shrimp. The fries tasted old and there was very little as far a s the fries. The shrimp was mediocre and the fish tasted too salty. I certainly will not be ordering from this restaurant in the future. These restaurants claim that they never hear complaints. Some will never complain to your face, they just won’t return.

One word. Incompetent. Went to pick up a doordash order, took 20 minutes because they helped every walk in and drive thru customer before me that came after me. Um pretty sure doordash customers should be treated as well as other customers. And the cook is rude and yelled something at me on my way out.

If I could give less than zero stars I would. First off the man in the window with glasses and facial hair was beyond rude. Second of all he dropped our desert that opened on the ground and when we politely asked for a new one he said nothing. Food was thrown in bag and overflowing. When asked for two more tartar, he acted like we shot a puppy and proceeded not to give any.

The shrimp skewer salad was just boiled shrimp placed on lettuce and cheese. There was no seasoning or skewers. The cheese melted to the shrimp. Plus they forgot the dressing. I also ordered the grilled fish kids meal. The fish was cold and the broccoli was freezer burned.
