I was watching a YouTube video about an AMAZING BBQ joint in Austin, TX and everything inside my body was compelling me to buy a plane ticket and go try this BBQ place. Obviously that’s crazy, so I decided to try to satisfy my urge for BBQ by checking out Fat City Brew & BBQ instead. This was my first visit here and the staff all welcomed me and family in as we walked through the back entrance into the dining room. I was excited to see a nice variety of BBQed meats available. I went for the Brisket and Ribs, wife got the tri-tip sandwich, and my son got a salad topped with tri-tip. Everything looked great. The brisket was tender. There were a variety of their own BBQ sauces on the table and they were all delicious. The ribs were definitely the best ribs I’ve had in Stockton. The plate was definitely filling and I couldn’t finish it so I took leftovers home. I still want to catch a flight to Austin to try Terry Black’s BBQ, but Fat City was pretty good too

Waste of time and money. Not real BBQ. Portions kid sized. Service sub-par based on LOOKS. Brisket was dry no smoke ring no flavor. The owner was no help. RIPOFF.

Our group of 12 went on a Sunday afternoon. Our orders came pretty quickly. You order and pay and then they bring your food to your table. My husband and I both had the bbq pulled pork. It was excellent! One side comes with your meal. I had coleslaw and my husband had fries (they are really potatoes wedges). Next time I will get those. The waitresses were great and very helpful. Looking forward to eating there again real soon.

I happened to be in Stockton at lunch time so I looked for a place to eat. Came across Fat City Brew & BBQ. So happy that’s what we chose. Got the two meat plate…brisket and pulled pork with onion rings and a side salad. So Good!!! The meats were juicy!! Some of the best BBQ meats I’ve had. The onion rings were good. I wish the salad had been made with romaine lettuce but it was mixed greens. The customer service was outstanding!! I would definitely return if in Stockton again.

First time here. I had the sliders – tri-tip, pulled pork, and chicken – and house fries. Delicious! My husband had the half slab of St. Louis ribs and those were super good. Flavor was yummy and meat was tender. Rob’s Frog Sauce in various flavors and heats are on the tables for customer use. I had a great experience and look forward to going back.

Very little garlic on the garlic fries. The salad was good. Wish there was more than one tiny roll. Had to get up and ask, mostly every time I needed something. The ribs were terrible. It would have been nice to be able to order a smaller meal that was less costly.
