My family ate at Just Passing through tonight and it was great. We had a 3 meat combo plate, loaded baked potatoes, and a brisket sandwich. We also had some tasty peach cobbler and Blue Bell Ice Cream. We will definitely be back. Super nice folks and good Texas BBQ.

First, the food was awesome! I had the 3 meat platter with sausage, brisket, and ribs. All had a great smoke ring and the smoke flavor was spot on. I had green beans for the side which was really good also. The owner was very nice and even showed me the smoke set up in the back of restaurant. Definitely a great find I found on Yelp. Will be back! Oh yeah…I almost forgot…the sweet tea was awesome also.

Charming and delicious! Want a down home feel? Just pass on through. Friendly staff, very reasonably priced. I had the 3 meat plate with corn and green beans. The ribs were fall off the bone tender and well seasoned. The BBQ sauce was spicy and sweet. But the meat was so well seasoned, you don’t need it. The brisket was spoon tender and just melted in your mouth. Delicious fresh corn and green beans. Highly recommend, it’s worth the drive!

This is a great family dinning experience with good Texas meat falling off the bone ribs and flavorful chopped beef (I like a little fat meat with my chopped beef abs he did not disappoint) all the way baked potato. I was pleasantly surprised. The baked potato was good to me, however, it could have been cooked a bit longer for tenderness. Check it out. The seating filled up quickly when we arrived close to dinner time.

My husband and I just got done eating here. Oh, my, lord! This is the best BBQ we’ve had in a long time! Rick took good care of us. Everything we had (ox tails, brisket, sausage, ribs, mac & cheese, baked beans, peach cobbler) was phenomenal! We will DEFINITELY be back and bringing others with us!

This place is amazing! The spicy Boudan is delicious! But the best part of this place is their unwavering hospitality! I was terribly sick the other day so my husband stopped by and grabbed some smoked chicken for dinner, we stopped by again today to grab some brisket and he made sure to ask how I was feeling and if I needed anything to help me feel better!
