After moving to Wrightsville PA the name was changed to Phil’s and then to Rivertowne Restaurant. Rivertowne has a rather large menu. Items include appetizers, homeade soups, salads, subs, sandwiches, wraps, seafood, steaks, house specialties, italian platters, baskets, pizza, and stromboli’s. Breakfast is also served 7 days a week from 7 a.m – 11:30 a.m.

Nice hometown restaurant, breakfast was great, and the bloody Mary was so refreshing, not heavy like other bars. This was my second time there, and both times was exceptionally good!! Food was hot and good. First time there I had the Spanish omelet which was really good, 2nd time I had the western omelet equally as good. I’m a regular at Lyndon diner but rivertown will be my go to first choice.

We have been going here for over 30 years. The portions are large and typical home cooking goodness. This restaurant does have a wheelchair ramp and several parking spots near the front door. The servers are great and have become friends with us. If you are looking for fancy/smancy food, go elsewhere and leave the Rivertowne for people who just enjoy good food at good prices.

The tuna sub was ok, an I thought the waitress were nice. The woman that hired me was nice but I didn’t last long because the woman training me for dish washer was rude an expect to much for dish washing but If you need employment Id say give it a try, you may like it, everyone is different.

This is my home town diner and it’s always great every time I go. The staff there is awesome and treat you like family. I go for breakfast, and they always get my order right and damn that food comes out quick! For the staple 3 eggs, bacon, homefries, and toast this is the place to go.

Got Italian sub that was very disappointing. Contents were very fresh, meat and provolone cheese sliced way to thick. Roll fell apart trying to pick it up. Top it off, mayonnaise was put on roll instead of oil & vinegar. Ended up taking contents out of the roll, cut them up and ate like chief salad.

Maybe I caught them on a bad day, but they were out of ice tea and one of their seafood specialties. The scallops I ordered were very overcooked and tough.

Other than our server everything was bad. Food had no seasoning whatsoever and the price did not suit the portions. My fiancee did not finish her meal and refused to even take it home. That’s how bad it was. Won’t ever waist my money here again
