I had a lovely lunch at High Side while sitting outside near the Arkansas River. For appetizers, I really enjoyed the cauliflower wings and buffalo chicken wings. Both were well-prepared and served in delicious buffalo sauces and bleu cheese on the side. I also would recommend the fried pickles, which also tasted surprisingly delicious and was served with a special sauce on the side. For my entree, I ordered the chicken salad croissant. This included the chicken salad, lettuce, and tomato on a croissant with a side of fries. It tasted excellent blended together really well. The service was also good and I enjoyed the overall environment and scenic river view. I give High Side my full recommendation.

Great Bar and grill. Fantastic atmosphere. A live band was setting up for Saturday evening music just as I was leaving. The food was delicious and hit the spot.. the staff was great, friendly and Very quick! A great experience. The buffalo wings were fantastic.

The food here is amazing! Try the cheese curds, so good especially on a cold day! Go dressed for warmth in case there isn’t space inside the main dining area, you will get cold in the back open area (especially if you’re going during dinnertime.) Can’t miss with their burger or wings! I recommend their adult hot chocolate and definitely get the sweet potato fries! They were playing live music the night we went and it was fantastic!

This is a great place! We loved that it was seat yourself, dog friendly, and had great food. The service was fast, the atmosphere was amazing, and the pricing was very reasonable for the area.

Several great options for vegetarian diets here. The day we visited we just had a snack, so shared the hummus plate. It was delicious! The pita was warm and soft, without being chewy – the best we’ve ever had! Hummus was yummy, too.

The atmosphere was awesome, right on the water, big open views and they had a live band. Not sure if that’s common or if that was just for the Fibark festival. They weren’t super busy when we went because everyone was at the festival but our food came out super cold. We asked the guy where our food was because we noticed everyone after us got their food before us and when it finally came out it was cold. Fried pickles cold are pretty gross. Would have asked for new food but we were starving, tired of waiting, and trying to get to the festival. The guy who brought us our food was well aware of how long we waited and didn’t offer anything like fresh food (mind you I tipped him 50% when I ordered). Aside from being cold I would image the food is pretty good-especially the High Side Burger. Great spot for drinking on the water and enjoying live music. 3.5/5

We visited this place while on our way back to our hotel. The atmosphere was great indoor and outdoor seating, outdoor was very nice you can see and hear the river. The food was okay it was overpriced but okay. The service was great. Not only did our server check on us, but we had two other people check on us as well. Very good family-friendly establishment.

Very good, Gyro. Had a spicy jalepeno margarita that was crazy hot! Loved it! Tasted amazing! Set the bar very high on that one, haven’t found another one yet that comes even close. Would make a big detour just to drink another one or two of those! YUM!!! Don’t miss that one!
