I went here with my sister because she wanted fried green tomatoes and we found out they were a seasonal dish, ha ha. I had the spinach dip appetizer and she ended up getting the fried pickles.

Amazing fish dinner one of the best I’ve had. The fries are hand cut like carnival fries. Buffalo chicken wrap and chicken. Bacon ranch wraps were awesome. Live music on Saturday. Starting at 7 PM was very entertaining. It was not too loud. It was not too low. It was the perfect volume. I also found out Thursday night is jazz night and Wednesday night is trivia night starting at 7 PM and the kids would enjoy trivia on Wednesday.

My first visit ! We stopped here after being the Rte 208 garage sale. Nice comfy atmosphere. Rodger was a great server, friendly and efficient. I had the Rachel, turkey topped with coleslaw. Very tasty! I didn’t have any cocktails but they all looked delicious!!

Everything was clean. Service was good. The food was ok. Nothing wrong with it at all. Nothing spectacular, though, either. Perfectly fine. The front of the restaurant was opened up to let the breeze and fresh air in. That was lovely.

The pork chop was extremely dry, the flat iron steak was tough and fatty. The potatoes were hard. The desserts were tasteless , the waffle soggy the peach cobbler mason jar tasted like artificial peach filling in a jar with whipped cream and had sprinkles and whipped cream on top ugh . I wanted to love it but it was so bad. The waitress was awkward and unfriendly. The atmosphere was nice but that’s it. Would never go back. Spent 100.00 and should have gone to Rachel’s roadhouse.

A friend and I traveled from Erie Pennsylvania to a gun show in Hermitage PA and out of the blue we picked J. Hicks on the Square for a place to stop for lunch.. The place was excellent, great staff, fast service and excellent food! If you’re going to be in the area it’s definitely a place to stop if you want to enjoy your lunch in a great atmosphere!
