I’ve been craving their lobster roll as I’ve purchased it multiple times off the food truck. This time I decided to go to the actual restaurant. It was very clean and the staff was friendly and welcoming. I ordered the daily special oxtails and rice along with a large lobster roll. Not sure why, but the roll is prepared differently than on the truck. It was bland meat/bread, no seasoning. The special was OK nothing special or fancy. This was not worth the money. I would get a roll from the truck again…maybe.

As long as it took to get our order, our seafood grilled cheese should have been actually GRILLED. That helps it not to be gummy, which is what we ended up with. My husband and I supported the truck all through the pandemic, but THIS was subpar to say the least. We expected better. Not to mention the cost. Too much money spent for this food not to be as great as we had from the truck. Very disappointed.

Great food & even better prices! I had the pleasure of grabbing food from, The Lobster Food Truck, today at the Harvest Festival down at the Dequindre Cut in Detroit. Not only was it DELICIOUS, it was filling as well. The service was A1! I would recommend looking up future location pop ups, so you can get the full professional experience and great food!!!! I am already booking for catering, at an up coming event!

Paid a 160 for 3 1/2 lobster rolls, came with no seasoning or butter, which would be extra. I got home and began throwing up and had an upset stomach. not worth it.

I’ve always been pleased when I’ve rolled through. I’ve had the lobster roll, lobster bisque, lobster bites, seafood grilled cheese & ive been pleased with everything. The SEAFOOD GRILLED CHEESE is the GREATEST food I’ve ever had! The lobster bisque is something I’ve never had and had to get my taste buds accustomed to the flavor but enjoyed. I love this place. You’re gonna pay a little bit but that’s to be expected when it comes to lobster.

The restaurant is take out. The menu is simple. The food was hot and delicious. I had the Lobster Bisque and the Shrimp and Crab grilled cheese on Texas toast. It was the special for Thursday. The prices are high so be ready to spend some money.
