Decided to give it a go through doordash, as I’m stuck at work and very few options for calzones in the area. The amount of toppings and the size were definitely worth the price. However, I was disappointed that there was chunky spaghetti sauce inside of the calzone, as a traditional calzone has no sauce. It also feels important to mention that while the dough on the outside was a very nice golden brown, inside was very doughy.

Excellent pizza at a more than reasonable price. It’s hard to find a good Sicilian—Cardellos is doughy, delicious, and generously portioned. Can’t beat it. I have used them many times in the past. Will never order from them again. Deliver estimated 55 mins. Hour and 10 mins later call they say their driver is on the way. 15 mins later no delivery still. Call to check. Told you are next. 30 mins later still no food. On hold no trying to cancel my order but apparently they refuse to speak to me. Don’t waste your time or money. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

We have been ordering from Cardellos for 3 years, food and service have always been amazing. I don’t know what happened but tonight was not good, and will not be returning. Going out to eat is costly anymore and it is a treat for my family. Tonight our money was wasted on food we had to throw away. My husband’s Buffalo chicken salad was burned and overdone and so hot it choked him. He eats Buffalo all the time and knows the heat. My chicken salad had no fries and the chicken was cold and and no flavor. My kids said the sauce on the pizza was awful. And we ordered pick up, I got the confirmation our food was done my husband went in to grab it and the man working said he didn’t have it and didn’t know what he was talking about. I had the confirmation of the order, I paid and confirmation it was complete. I have two stars because the breadsticks were good, that’s what we had for dinner.

What the heck happened to this place!?!?! Is it under new management??? We walked in to pick up our order and stood there for 15 minutes without being acknowledged. Three different people walked past us and never said a word. The deep dish pizza was my absolute favorite pizza EVER – ANYWHERE!!!! To say it has been changed, would be an understatement 🙁 And just because you cut a pizza into squares, doesn’t make it a Sicilian pizza. It used to have this nice fluffy, thick crust – now it’s like eating a cracker. They certainly lost our business 🙁

Everything ive gotten was definitely good. update: 4 months later sorry had to drop down to 2 stars. Got a Sicilian that was paper thin, add the pepperoni and it was a gross mess. 3 people had seen us waiting BUT still waited 10+ minutes to be even acknowledged we were even there. Wish we hadn’t already paid. They built some kind of “wall” so its super close inside and they cant see. it was nice before this. is this place under new management?
