Sunday not much of a wait but decent amount of people coming in and out of this restaurant. There’s a 2.8% surcharge if you use a credit card so bring cash. The menu has a selection of great burgers. I opted for the chupacabra burger, added mushrooms, in a lettuce wrap — make it a combo with onion rings. The burger came and the avocado and Mayo was on the side. The onion rings were perfectly fried, huge, and so so so good. The lettuce wrap burger was also superb, it was a big burger with two Patties, jalapeño, avocado, cheese. I felt very satisfied after my meal and it was only $15 which is well worth the portion size. There’s also a drive thru here!

It’s literally my favorite place when coming into Uvalde, love the catfish it’s always hot and crispy and the portions are great, the staff is always nice too, I freaking love Billy Bobs!

Billy Bob’s is awesome! The burgers are huge! They have great options for toppings, the Avocado burger and the Santa Fe are my favorites. I also love the grilled chicken sandwich. Burgers and chicken are well-seasoned and always cooked perfectly. Recently they added fried fish and shrimp to their menu, and I gotta say it’s some of the best I’ve had! The shrimp, which I’ve ordered three times now, is delicious. And meats and toppings are fresh. I get great service everytime I go, and you can’t beat the prices for the amount of food you get. I will go here forever!

Such a hidden gem that I don’t think alot of people know about or at least don’t give enough credit to. Billy Bob’s was a shot in the dark for me since I just wanted to try a local burger place instead of the numerous megacorp fast food restaurants chains that litter interstate highways and boy was I in for a treat.

Great tasting burgers BUT… Customer service by these young guys is not good at all. Management needs to properly train them. Smile to greet the customer is a MUST. They park me every single time I go and they always forget something in my order. Tell me why I need a ton of salt and pepper if I didn’t even request any? No matter how nice I spoke to the young boy, no matter how much I smiled, he didn’t even look at me in the eye and made 3 trips because he forgot the fries, ketchup and then the straws. ♀️ I understand this may be their first job but they NEED TRAINING!!! Also, my sweet potato fries were and tasted burnt and one of the burgers was very cold (they maybe gave me an old one that was left over).

Ordered a burger, had to tell the cashier my order again twice for some reason even though we were the only people in line, had to wait forever for the order, and then when we got it it was soggier than a motherf. It was like the employees microwaved literally every part of that hamburger, even for the jalapenos I asked to specifically be grilled. Restaurants in this city wouldn’t survive if they had any competent competition
