Oh man, I really wanted to like this place but I think the reviews led me wrong I’m a huge foodie and this place has had my interest for a while with all the high reviews. Unfortunately, most of our food was lacking in flavor (even with the added salsas). We had 5 different tacos: trompo al pastor, campechano, tacos de albanil, barbacoa, and the bistec. We are trying to kick off eating at all the taco trucks on the taco mile and thought this would be a good place to start, with all the other options, I may not be back for tacos (but may try their tortas). The meat itself was just lacking in flavor, I always want my tacos to be more bold, but hoping it was just an off day. Not terrible, but just okay. If you prefer milder seasoning, maybe this place would maybe be a better fit for you.

I really liked the food here and honestly the reviews can be misleading but check it for yourself resígales, it’s one persons opinion at the end of the day. The chorizo tacos were bomb, the bistec was ok and like someone mentioned they did lack a bit of taste. Another thing to mention is that they only take CASH. Not sure if this was a one time thing or it’s a normal thing, regardless have some on your just in case. Parking can be a bit hard to get as they are usually packed, especially at night time.

The tacos were great to taste. I had tacos in Mexico it’s nearly 80% of Mexico tacos. The price is also reasonable compared to other taco shops around. They have a side table for cucumber and sauces with onion.

Excellent Mexican food. I got the quesadilla and it was very good. Reasonably priced as well. They have homemade salsas and the outdoor seating is a nice vibe. There was a slight language barrier but nothing that hurt my experience or the taste of my food! I will definitely be back!

The suadero is not the real suadero like Mexico city, the music is ok, the salad bar is good the salsas are great, the Al pastor tacos needs the pineapple and all the tacos needs to be double tortilla, single tortillas was great, this tacos are more American Stiile instead of been advertising like D.F. sitll

The picture doesn’t do justice. The tortillas are hand made. I ordered suadero. They have a place for you to get salsas. They have 3 different kinds and also offer nopales. They are on the pricier end but they are good!

I’m really excited I found this place. Their tacos are full of flavor. I tried the bistec, al pastor, and albañil tacos. The albañil taco comes with chorizo, bistec, nopales, queso fresco, and cilantro. The bistec and al pastor tacos come with plenty of cilantro and grilled onion. I was happy with the amount of meat in each taco; they definitely don’t skimp on the meat. I also tried both of their spicy green salsas. Everything was so good. I ate my tacos in the car and then ended up coming back for more. Tacos are $3, tortas are $12, and you have to pay with cash. You may be able to find a less expensive taco place, but these tacos are worth it. I can’t wait to come back and try their tortas, which I’ve heard great things about.

C NOTE
They took a long time to make the food when no one else was eating there. The carne asada torta was a 4/10 the tripas tacos were not cleaned all the way. They had flys all over the condiments, sides and salsa with nothing to keep them away at all! Disgusting for anyone that didn’t see it and will eat it later. There’s many more tastier cleaner options around town

I managed to navigate my way to N Lamar since moving to Austin from Houston and finally found some affordable taco trucks! This one is my go-to when I have a hankering for a torta. I get the Chilanga errtime, it’s pretty much got everything on it, make sure you have plenty of napkins and don’t forget to stop by their salsa bar!
