Yummy burgers and pizza but its obnoxiously loud when the jukebox is playing. Why does it have to be so loud? Also, not the best service for a Sat night. The bar was full and we were the only patrons eating food at the tables and we felt ignored. I think I’ll avoid this place for dinner but will check to see how this place is at lunch time.

The Hide Away Bar might as well stay hidden away because let me tell you it’s not worthy to have a sign labeled “pizza specialist.” My family and I ordered 3 pizzas over the weekend. A Reuben pizza, a chicken Alfredo, and a pepperoni, mushroom and sausage. As we first arrived it’s apparent that this must be the only bar in town so people come here to get their kicks. My wife and I stood there for 10 minutes while the bartender was favoring the other side of the bar. A different person who made it clear to my wife and I that she isn’t working but guess she could help us got our pizzas which came up to $63 for the 3 “special pizzas.” So then we ask for a bottle of Lemon (Rum). She said sure we have a 1.75 for $22. She brings back a 1 Liter and goes to ring it up. When I mentioned the size difference she says “oh that’s all we have.” That’s fine but but she still charged $22 for the 1 Liter. I even asked her and she says, “it’s still $22.” I mean I may not be the smartest person out there but I can figure the math on this one. Anyway, we get back to our campsite and open up the pizzas to find that each one was burnt on top, little to no sauce so on a burnt pizza it’s worse then a stale cracker laid out in the middle July. These pizzas were special, specially made for the garbage. If you can make it through your weekend with the food you have, do it, I will not be recommending the Hide Away Bar to anyone.

Have been staying in Babbitt for a few weeks for work and the Hide Away is by far the best in town! Wonderful service/staff, great food (highly recommend the chicken wild rice pizza), and friendly locals. Has a dart board and pool table too. Definitely will be back!

The pizza here, including the sauce, is homemade. We tried the Reuben pizza. It’s corned beef, swiss cheese and sauerkraut. Though offered with a 1000 island sauce, we chose a different one. The pizza was thick with toppings, and the crust was ultra thin and crispy. Pizza is just one of a number of menu choices. What’s really nice when you come to a place like this, is feeling welcomed. We were given really good service.

I was One of the people in the group of 11 with Colton. I have to say the food was good the waitress was wonderful but the bartender should get a different job. we took our business elsewhere the rest of our extended stay in Aurora

We walked into one room where everyone looked like they were in a meeting….I think it was the dining room. So we went into the bar. There were two bartenders and a cook. A customer came over to see if we wanted something to drink. She didn’t know what they offered for sodas but gave us a menu. She came back and we ordered. The bartender didn’t come over to take our food order so we went to the bar. It took at least 45 minutes to get nachos, a burger and a small cheese pizza. Time to pay? The bartender flirted with the 7 men at the bar so we had to get out tab to pay. The other bartender stood at the corner of the bar talking most of the 2 hours we were there. Do not recommend if you are hungry or in a hurry.

Pizza was good but I ordered supper this evening and it was arguably the worst dining experience I’ve ever had. My burger took 45 minutes to get to me, and was dried out like it had been under a heat lamp for at least 15-20 minutes. Fries were despicable and they are my favorite food so it takes a lot for me to complain. Not seasoned, and had a taste of day old McDonald’s fries
