What a wonderful experience. We’re getting tired of the same old places. So we ventured off trying to find something different. About 25 minutes later we found State Line. I’m so glad we did. They did not have the dining room open but the gentleman was nice enough to let eat there anyway. He was brutally honest by saying the service is going to be horrible. He was the only employee there. We didn’t care. Full disclosure the service was excellent! He was very attentive. We did not feel like we were an afterthought. On the menu was mozzaluna. Never heard of it. Half moons of breaded cheese. OMG! Worth the drive just for that! The knots were ok. But the pizza! The pizza, was amazing. We got the thick crust. Thick but still crunchy. Great food. Great service. We’ll be back.

Been staying out here for over three years ordering dry pizza at other places and didn’t know they were right around the corner from us and to top it off their pizza is so freaking delicious. Just they way I want it. They have a huge selection of all different kinds of pies, sandwiches, etc. Better than Beggars. Great job.

I’ve driven past this pizza place for years. Today I read the reviews and decided to try it. It was ok, but could have included MUCH more sausage and pepperoni. I order half with Italian sausage and pepperoni and the other half was crumbled sausage. What I received was mostly a veggie pizza with the veggies I asked for. I also asked for spicy sauce, but it wasn’t spicy at all. Needless to say I was disappointed. Not sure if I will return.

Every time I order from State Line Pizza in Dyer, my order arrives quickly and is always fresh and hot. I really enjoy their thin crust pizza and freshly made salads with their garlic dressing. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for great quality pizza.

They have some interesting people working here. Food was good but the service was very disorganized. I made an order for delivery and after a long wait I called and asked about my order status and the lady got really defensive saying it takes over an hour and 15 minutes to deliver. Estimated delivery when I ordered was an hour after I ordered and I called to check after waiting an additional 30 minutes. Don’t give me an estimated wait time of an hour if you are going to be rude when I call an hour and half after. I wasn’t going to argue on the phone but that lady who was on the phone has to check her attitude. I was being respectful and all I did was ask a question. When we called to modify the order they played hot potato with the phone and they put the order in twice, charged me for both, and the order still came out incorrect (wrong types, different flavors). Otherwise like I mentioned, food was good and additional food was okay. Had to throw out the additional stuff they charged me for since no one wanted it

Use to be one of my favorite pizza restaurants on the south side and northwest Indiana. I still frequent the Hammond location often for lunch but the sure location has severely gone down hill the last 2 months and to night was the last straw. I order a family 1/2 sausage 1/2 pepperoni well done with extra sauce and it is usually perfect but the last 2 times the pizza was awful and tonight it’s not edible, RAW or what I call raw.
