Great being able to walk from RV to get dinner. Pizza was good, service was polite but she was obviously trying to run everything from the Cafe and RV park guests by herself. They could have used another person to assist with waitresses. There were only 3 tables including ours when we dined.

This roadside park has 25 RV sites with a mix of water/electric and full hook up plus 3 tent sites. The sites are average size on level gravel pads. There is zero cell phone service but the Wifi worked pretty well for email and searches. Looked at the cafe menu which consists of burgers, sandwiches, and pizza but did not eat there. The area attraction appears to be visiting the Matanuska Glacier. The bathhouse has $3 showers for 9 minutes and takes quarters.

Beautiful place. Surrounded by mountains, full hookups and services, delicious pizza, and peaceful atmosphere. The only thing I would change is the price of the showers. It is 12 quarters for 8 minutes of shower, which I think is a little pricey. Other than that, great place. Here’s a picture of one of their “Greek” pizzas.

Beautiful area in Glacier View. It was a clean park with water/electricity/sewage/some wifi. Restrooms available as well as coin operated showers. I did not get a chance to try the food as we were late in and early out. It was located 10 minutes from our glacier hike which was perfect. The staff was very friendly and helpful and they have two adorable and well behaved dogs that live right outside the restaurant. It was a perfect place to stay if you are in the Glacier View area!

Please stay AWAY from this place! When checked in the hostess recommended us to try her hand made traditional Chinese Shandong beef noodle which we did. But when she brought it up to us it looked and smelled nothing but a leftover(see photo). When asked she said the noodles too short just because Americans cannot eat long noodles. What a BIG baseless lie!!! American can’t eat long noodles? How about Italian noodle dishes? Vietnam pho noodles? Japanese noodles? Just to name a few very popular noodles in America. We have been on the road from Florida for more than 4 months and have been RVing for more than 10 years, have never seen such a liar, I would definitely not recommend this dishonest business to anyone traveling in Alaska.

I would 100% come back to this RV park and definitely recommend it to others!! We were roughing it for about a week before we ended up here and I’m so glad we did! We went to another RV park about an hour away which offered amenities and when we got there they informed us the amenities weren’t working. So we came here and got so lucky we did! There are wayyy less bugs here than the other RV parks, likely due to the elevation. They have a laundry and shower system (you pay in quarters and the instructions are super clear). Their laundry is cheaper than our laundromat back home. The shower gets nice and hot. The bathrooms are clean. The outdoor area is clean. I think the food is reasonably priced especially for the area, plus they make it fresh. Anyone who complains about prices is just dumb. We’re from NY so we’re very biased regarding pizza and I would definitely get their pizza again. Their coffee, breakfast, and carrot cake are totally worth it. The owners are super nice and helpful. There is a trail head right in the park. It’s not a huge park and it’s not super cramped, which I appreciated. They are dog friendly. The view is AMAZING. We originally were going to stay 1 night but ended up adding another night on (Which the owners were super cool about). Plus the price to stay here is beyond fair! Definitely recommend staying here if you need an RV hookup in the area. So grateful we came across this location 🙂
