Food is ok, but the service is terrible. I try to support small businesses by eating out as often as I can. The last 3 times, it was same result. The food was ok and the service was terrible. I also went when it wasn’t really busy. I found another L&L BBQ that is cheaper and they give larger portions. And, the service is a lot better.

I had the garlic shrimp healthy plate. The shrimp were left with the peeling on, and slathered in garlic oil sauce. They came with brown rice which was very overcooked and undercooked all at once. It seems like two different batches were mixed such that some rice was absolute mush, and others were crunchy in the centers. The accompanying salad was just lettuce and the only available dressing was ranch. My guest had a chicken plate. The chicken was acceptable, but not spectacular. It needed more sauce or seasoning. The macaroni salad was not eaten because of an allergy. The accompanying salad was again, just lettuce, and the only available dressing was ranch.

Ordered a mini chicken katsu on my lunch break and the serving size is quite generous! Couldn’t finish it all, but it was very good. I do miss the katsu sauce they used to serve it with before though. Not sure if all locations changed it or just this one serves it with a different sauce.
