It has been a few years since we ate at Tom Wahl’s, usually in Avon, first time in Greece. Very large resturarant, clean with many tables open. We ordered 2 Wahl burger combos and 1 cheeseburger combo. About 14-15 per combo. We asked to change our drinks to Wahls root beer floats, highly recommended, and split between fries and onion rings so all bases would be covered. Bill for 3 people 55$, but it had been a while. Got our buzzer and sat down. Took about 8 min for our food to be ready, not many folks there at the time we were eating. Was suprisend how small the signature Wahl burger has become. Food was good, not HOT as you would expect with so few people, I guess they need to work on their timing.

As a long time customer of the original Tom Wahl’s in Avon, I appreciate the consistency of the atmosphere and menu between the locations. I love the Wahlburger and ALWAYS get the root beer. Quality food served efficiently in a great atmosphere. Thankyou thankyou thankyou. I would definitely come here again if in the area.

First time visiting this Tom Wahls location. I’ve been to other Tom Wahls locations and I must say, they did a great job remodeling this one. It’s very clean and bright. There seems to be plenty of seating.

I was looking so forward to this place finally opening – really needed a decent restaurant especially in this area of town. I have tried it multiple times, first when it initially opened and a few times since. I am sorry to say that neither the food or service has gotten any better. They definitely appears to be a huge gap in management here – something that needs to be corrected as soon as possible, as this is affecting the entire organization overall. The cheeseburgers are very flat tasting, as are the fries. Even when there’s no one in the place the service is slow. This is not the same Tom Wahl’s that I’ve been accustomed to for well over 30 years. After giving it several visits hoping to see improvement, it just hasn’t happened – and I’m not expecting that it will – especially with the food. I always order my burgers medium rare and fried light cooked – they have yet to get this request right. Everything is always over cooked. And the prices are quite high, especially when compared to other burger places that have outstanding burgers. In the end, this is just disappointing, especially after waiting so long for it to open. It’s pretty obvious that the manager of this restaurant is totally inept for the job and needs to be replaced immediately if this location is to survive.

Really good food and excellent service. Clean inside and out. Busy for my visit, but not full capacity. Food was just as I hoped, and reminded me of the original location. Drive thru was busy but moving quickly.

For those that live in the area, BRING BACK CARMINES. You all know what I’m talking about. Almost $50 for 2 burgers and a kids grilled cheese meal. I don’t think this spot will be around long. I never do reviews, but felt this was needed.

Got a plate with a moldy roll… step daughter asked for light hot sauce,was drowning in hot sauce,milkshake was basically chocolate milk. Not sure what’s up with location… other Tom Whal’s are pretty good and consistent. Oh and the time before this I had chili that had and oil slick floating on top with crunchy beef. Won’t go again.

The food is good but the service was terrible. Waited 20 minutes for a small cone and milkshake. At least 4 employees just standing around talking, including the manager, and the person who ultimately made our order. The order was incorrect. We sat down to eat and the lobby, table, and seats were mostly filthy. Was not busy in the restaurant. Disappointing experience again.
