Excellent menu, lots of choices, very good lunch specials. Service was good– a little slow, but it was busy. The atmosphere was comfortable, but bustling and busy at lunch time. Would like to return for dinner sometime in the hope that it will be calmer and more intimate.

The restaurant itself was nice but the sushi options, specifically the vegetarian options, were bizarre and seemed like an afterthought. The other sushi with meat tasted like what you might get at a grocery store – fine but not worth dine-in prices. The worst part was our waiter, who hovered near our table and essentially watched us eat at several points. He only stopped hovering once we were done eating and wanted the check, at which point he disappeared. As two young women, this was an uncomfortable experience the we wouldn’t recommend to anyone.

I reserved a 1 person seating for Valentine’s Day and it was excellent. The staff were friendly and accommodating. Despite it being a holiday, the food was quite fast to come out. I ordered the cooked shrimp and mango roll as well as the squid ginger yaki. The shrimp and mango roll was my top pick of the night. I would highly recommend. The ginger sauce on the squid was fantastic, although the squid was just a tad bit tough. However, I would still recommend the squid here if you’re looking for quality rare seafood. The atmosphere was pleasant; I enjoyed the lighting and decor. In addition, I ordered a red bean ice cream mochi (not pictured), which was average in my opinion, however the price was cheap, and it was ice cream mochi, so I was not expecting anything extraordinary. Overall, this restaurant far exceeded expectations and I am delighted to have a new restaurant to frequent.

Nice little place with lots and lots of options. It was hard to choose only the amount we knew we could eat! We got to sit at a table close enough to see sushi rolls being made. A unique menu of drinks are available. As well as desserts! They have a good group of hardworking employees. Our waitress that went above and beyond even though she was extremely busy. It’s a little more spendy, but sushi typically is. Yet with the portions of the non sushi menu items, you’ll get your money’s worth.

It was New Years, so I had to wait for a while to be seated. I ordered fried calamari because I’m a huge seafood lover! The calamari was hot and crispy on the outside and chewy in the inside. Dip the calamari into sweet and sour sauce then put into the mouth was amazingly delicious. I drooled before taking a bite of it. It was light seasoned but the sauce help balanced it well. The shrimp tempura roll was big compared to other restaurants. It was filled with fillings and on the outside it was topped with more sauces and goodness. Each bite was so creamy, crunchy and rich to the taste. I also ordered shrimp/scallop and chicken hibachi. I think it was pan fried in too much sauce which makes the noodles soggy. The meat and veggies was perfectly cooked. Along with the dish, I also get a bowl of soup to wash everything down during eating or after eating.

Always a great experience with high quality sushi and service. Highly recommend as the top/go-to Sushi spot in the Hudson & River Falls area. Keep in mind that high quality food takes time. If you want something quick consider fast food.
