What a lovely surprise! This is a small restaurant located in Union City, and it deserves all of the 5-star it gets. Cozy atmosphere, super lovely staff, everything so clean and organized. And the food is simply delicious! The Prosciutto Benedict is perfect, and the French Toast not only looks nice, but is also delicious. A place we’ll visit many other times!

It’s our first time at this restaurant. The menu looks so simple but don’t let it fool you. The foods are actually “beautiful”. It looks pretty outside but tastes even better. The chef made the foods to a different level. They taste so good and make our taste buds dance happily. We ordered the egg Benedict and avocado toast+ham and they are way way more better than we expected. Customer service is also very good, nice, and friendly people. I’m glad that I visited this restaurant. It is worth the 15 min walk from our hotel. We will definitely come back here again on our next trip to NY/NJ.

My partner and I first came across this spot on our daily walks last week with our dog. We checked out the menu and noticed it was a brunch spot. We don’t have many or any of those in our area so we were intrigued! A brunch spot 4 blocks away from home? We saw that they had perfect reviews so needless to say, we couldn’t wait to come in and try their food. I called in advanced to ask about their reservation policy and if they were pet friendly, as we love taking our dog everywhere we go. They were! Today we tried out Vale’s for the first time and we already cannot wait to return. The service was wonderful! Vania (or Vanya – sorry if I spelled this incorrectly) the owner and her husband opened not too long ago. She was so warm and welcoming and genuinely interested in our names as well as our dog’s. Throughout our experience at Vale’s, we learned that the restaurant was named after their daughter Valeria and we felt right at home. Community is hard to come by when you’re going out to eat. We wanted to eat everything off the menu but for the obvious reasons, we will return to try the things we didn’t today over time. Immediately we were served small pitchers of water with lemon. Great start! I ordered a double shot of espresso with oat milk and raw sugar on the side, and the prosciutto Benedict. It was PERFECT. And I’m a coffee and food snob. The poached eggs were cooked perfectly and the side salad it came with was fresh and balanced out all the flavors. My partner ordered a caramel iced latte with almond milk and the huevos rancheros. I had a bite of his food and it was really good! We also split the French toast with berries. It was the first time I had French toast with mint, and I was apprehensive about it but when I took a bite, I was surprisingly pleased. We spent less than $60 on all three dishes and coffee and couldn’t believe it. We noticed they had outlets and other pastries and I’m looking forward to coming here again with my partner, friends, and even by myself with my computer. The place was also designed beautifully, and the artwork was nice. I appreciate these things in restaurants. I also have to give a shoutout to Elizabeth who made our coffee and checked in with us regularly. We left feeling full, happy and are looking forward to returning and supporting this family business.

Union city has been waiting for something like this! Because my Boyfriend and I live a few steps away from this place, we may only go here for brunch going forward. While the food/ordering does take a bit, it is completely worth the wait with beautiful garnishing and amazing tastes. We were told that Coldbrew coffee would be coming soon and they are looking into a dinner menu in the future. I highly recommend trying the Firecraker Cauliflower as it was a delicous side.

This place gets 5 stars across the board. Hidden gem in union city. Very nice interior and honestly the best egg and cheese croissant I’ve had in my life. The owner is super friendly. They serve Balthazar croissants…good luck finding anywhere else in NJ that does. Must go. I devoured my sandwich AND midway remembered I forgot to take a pic. It smelled so .

Vale’s Kafe $ Kitchen is a must stop. Beautifully design with a great vibe and welcoming owners. I had Vale’s omelette, perfect combo of potatoes, eggs, leek and cheese. Comes with salad, very filling and delicious. Homemade lemonade and iced latte were great. This a wonderful cute spot for breakfast/lunch/brunch. Will be back !

As a Chef we admire Pablos!!! Hard working man with an exceptional taste of food, I work with him and I’m impressed of every creation he made!!!! As my first time visiting vale’s kitchen i try the signature Burger!!!! The best burger i been tried in my life!!!! Its perfect i still have the flavor of the wasabi mayo, and angus beef in my head!!!! I really recommend this unique kitchen. It was a beautiful experience thank you vales for bring happiness to my soul!!!!!!

The Vale’s burger and the fettuccine with pesto sauce were delicious!!! The food was fresh and juicy. Their homemade lemonade was very refreshing. I highly recommend this place and will definitely go again!!
