Ordered takeout through Uber Eats. I wanted to give 5 stars, until I bit into the shrimp egg roll. The egg roll tasted like an old aquarium smells. The shrimp was gray in color. I instantly spat it out. I lost my appetite and the smell from the egg roll induced a gag reflex in everyone but my dog.

So after careful review, I feel this food is par. If you’re reading this, it’s because it’s probably Monday for you and China Taste across the street is closed. This will suffice for a Chinese craving should China Taste be closed but I will say you will let down by the egg rolls. I feel this business has left money on the table. They miss the opportunity with poor service lacking food. EAST KING….you have the opportunity to win customers.

Delicious! I got the combo plate of Kung-Pao shrimp and shrimp fried rice. I asked for extra spicy. The ingredients were extremely fresh, veggies crisp, shrimp vein was cleaned(this is a big deal for me). Shrimp were a decent size, there was no searching around for protein. Now, the chicken wings were….. amazing! Crispy & flaky on outside, juicy on the inside. Not undercooked or overcooked. The chicken fried rice was too good to be true. At time of writing this, there is no delivery due to Covid. As someone who is a Native New Yorker, cooks a variety of authentic Asian cuisines and happens to be part Asian also, I am very impressed.

Honestly disgusting rice and overpriced food. They don’t have any regards for sanitation and the food is always soggy and disgusting. Worst general tso I have ever tried in my life, I heard plenty of bad reviews of this place but was still stupid enough to try it. I’ll be avoiding this place like the plague.

Absolutely delicious Crab Rangoons, GSO chicken and Sweet & Sour Chicken. The chicken tasted fresh along with the stuffed Rangoons. Fast service and they take measures to prevent the spread of Covid which is nice as well.

Terrible food and extremely overpriced. They take advantage of delivery options like Uber eats and others to raise their prices. Ordered the general t’sos chicken with fried rice and it was soggy and tasted like ketchup ($16.90). Seems they used ketchup only as the sauce. Tiny piece of chicken with a ton of breading. Rice tasted at least 3 days old and had a funky smell to it. Ordered chicken wings and they were okay (how can you screw that) ($11.00). Also ordered shrimp with vegetables and wife got sick of it ($18.00). Had past terrible experiences with them and vouched to never order from there again but decided to give them another try after 5+ years of staying away and it’s still terrible. Not sure how this business is still open. Waited 1 hour and 15 minutes for my food.

When I buy a pint of pepper steak, the container has always been filled with pepper steak…. not mostly steamed white rice. That is usually packed in a separate container. Lo Mein wasn’t palatable either. Very upsetting, especially for the wasting my money on it.
