Such a great place for breakfast lunch and dinner! I tend to come here for breakfast because they have great coffee and breakfast options. The staff is super kind and great about keeping things clean and looking good. The avocado toast is amazing and priced very reasonably compared to other restaurants. Huge open eating area, outside patio, and even a working fireplace! If you are a desert fan they have a great variety of cakes!

This location compared to others is relatively small. Looks like they also slimmed down on their menu choices. I’ve always enjoyed their soups – both the French onion and tomato. You can never go wrong with them! It is always a casual and family oriented environment here.

Don’t order their avocado or else you’ll get what looks like avocado that has been sitting out for two weeks straight. Absolutely disgusting. It tainted the entire flavor of my omelette since they tried to hid it within. Their quality has gotten poor.

Employees are supposed to know the food menu. I recently came to get a soup for my nephew and the “cashier” at the establishment ONLY pointed out towards the screen; since I wasn’t guided AT ALL , I just ordered a potato soup and a kale salad ( the potato soup had bacon) , which I CANNOT EAT AT ALL!!!!!!! I could not eat the food I ordered so I proceeded to take it to go, the. asked for a plastic bad to take my food … and the lady with attitude and sarcasm said “we do not have such a thing” …. IN CONCLUSION: I BELIEVE THAT IF IM SPENDING MY time, money and energy to go to a place where I’m supposed to be treated with respect, and I DON’T, me as a customer WILL NEVER GO BACK AGAIN AT ALL. Period!

For many years I used to go to the Madeleine in SMU, and I loved it, It was so nice to have a complimentary tray with a variety of bread, butter and jams. All of that is gone now, instead when you order in the cashier they expect a 15%, 20% tip (without serving you).

As someone who lives in France, I feel that this place is not authentically French. That’s okay though, French people don’t know how to make Texan food. 🙂 I did enjoy the free refills on coffee, which is not something I get in France. The croque monsieur was quite heavy and greasy. Didn’t much care for the chips. But it was a pleasant environment and I would go back.

The food is good but the service is not the best. I placed an online to-go order and when I arrived it wasn’t ready. I asked and they said that someone had picked it up. I told them it wasn’t me and that this was the second time that happened. I had to actually ask them to remake it because they didn’t offer to do so. All they kept saying was “I remember the order, but somebody picked it up already”. On top of it they move super slow and took forever to get me my food. The food is good but it’s not worth the hassle.
