I’ll come back here. The food was good and the sever was nice. The place is a lot bigger than it looks from the street. It feels like any other cafe I’ve been to, though what stands out for me is the prints of old comic book covers on the walls. It seems like they would be out of place, but it works here. I had the chicken fried steak and eggs and my coworker had a veggie omelette. I was satisfied as she was with hers. We’ll be back

When we walked in they told us to sit down where ever we liked and there was only 2 other families in there that were finishing up their meal so we sat down. We waited awhile for a server to give us menus until we finally walked out. While we were waiting the servers walked past us multiple times and even cleaned tables that were next to us and took orders for dessert for families who were already leaving before they even gave us menus. Felt ignored especially when as a family with a baby we were never offered a high chair. We saw the good reviews and were hopeful about this place utterly disappointed.

Update 7/26/23 I have been eating here on a regular basis for the past 2+ years. Breakfast and lunch continues to have excellent food and service. A real nice and professional waitress staff . Coffee/iced tea is refilled regularly. Many different breakfast meals: biscuit & gravy, steak & eggs, omelets, and my favorite, Ham & Eggs. I also like their salads for lunch: chefs salad, COBB w/grilled chicken salad, Shrimp salad, Taco salad, and today’s special, Crab salad. We are looking forward to our next meal. Soon, we will be trying dinner, hopefully Friday night Prime Rib.

Found this place by pure accident. They had some of the best food at a reasonable price while in Washington. They have regular diner food, hearty sizes, and served hot. The best part was the older couple sitting near us. They were so adorable I couldn’t help but watch them. They must have been regulars because everyone knew them.

Good food only reason it didn’t get 5 stars is because it is always very slow when it comes to getting your order. And once when I ordered breakfast I ordered a waffle meal and I got the eggs and the sausage and my Waffle never came it took too long. By the time my family was done eating their whole meals my Waffle still hadn’t even came yet.
