I’m from CO, where Chipotle is from, and I love Chipotle! Driving through IA, I thought I’d try Pancheros for the first time. I ordered a chicken burrito. I was blown away how each tortilla was made to order pressed and grilled right in front of you. But then, at the end of the line, they mix your burrito with a spatula. My burrito was tasty delicious. the chips and queso to top it off was nothing short of spectacular! Better than Chipotles queso! Overall, to come pare them. I’d say they are same same but different in their own way but still same! Everytime go to the Midwest this will be my go to for quick mexican food !

Just passing through town and found this restaurant. Chipotle style location with happy and hustling employees. Food options are numerous but the overhead menu was a bit confusing for me. Choose a bowl and the food was fantastic. Was given a complimentary bag of blue chips were are salted perfect for me. Wanted to return another day but left town too soon. Great job & I highly recommend!

I love Pancheros, but this is the only location I’ll never go back to. Staff are so rude and terrible and the food was put together badly. The employees were in such a hurry for no reason, I was the only one in line but they clearly did not want customers to be there. They mumbled and didn’t really seem to listen or care what I asked for, gave me a sad smushed order with barely any filling, and the cashier was super condescending and unfriendly. I mean, it’s clearly a bunch of younger people judging by the enthusiasm they had for PDA and talking to each other, but it’s not a hard job.

Not sure why every time I go here they’re in such a rush they somehow manage to get orders wrong. I’m standing in front of you telling you what I want. Last time I was here we were overcharged and when trying to explain what we ordered to the person checking us out they entirely dismissed the fact that we were being over charged. This time they’re putting the wrong stuff on my burrito and ignoring me when I am trying to correct it. Generally pancheros is good, but this location has never been great.

Service was solid. Food was good, but if I’m being honest I like Chipotle and Moe’s a little better. Chief difference for me was that they didn’t cook the fajita vegetables very long. They were mostly raw. I’m sure some would love that, I don’t so much. I would eat here again.

I’ve always enjoyed Pancheros food. Never had a bad meal or experienced poor service. At two separate locations, they speak with me as if they know me. Very nice & hard working staff members! I’ll continue supporting Pancheros as long as they’re around. Keep up the great work, Pancheros!
